I did a search on EC to see if anyone else had mentioned this, but didn't get any hits... Have you all seen "Her Story"? Her Story There are 6 episodes - each is pretty short, like ~11 minutes, but they are SO GOOD! Both of the lead transwomen are IRL trans. Here's the blurb from the website:
The feels are real in this one... but it's so well done. OMG. So worth it. I hope Netflix or someone picks it up so it becomes a full-length show. Natasha, go watch it! Each one is short, so you're not making a huge commitment in time/effort.
I watched the first episode and really enjoyed it but have been really busy with schoolwork and haven't had time to finish it. I might watch it soon since finals are gonna be over in less than a week.
I've watched all of the episodes a while back, and I'd 100% recommend seeing it if you have the time. It has a lot of great writing and acting. Though be warned that there's some instances of transphobia and depiction of an abusive relationship.
I heard about it (a trailer, I think) and started following info on it before they were shown, but then I got too busy and didn't end up watching them. Thanks for the link, Emma. The show shall be my reward when I finish my essay.
I watched all the episodes last night. It takes about an hour. The last two episodes I enjoyed the most, but all the episodes were really great. Thank you for sharing this. I quite liked it.
I watched it all while doing homework last night. I'm not normally into romance but this was actually very good. And it's really cool that the actresses are actually trans, I hope we see more of that in mainstream media soon.
