I play piano, violin, a bit of clarinet, and voice if that counts

Intermediate/advanced on piano(10 years), intermediate on violin(4 years), beginner on clarinet(2 years), beginner on voice(1 year)

I practice piano almost everyday, violin in orchestra once a week, I sing in choir once a week, and clarinet I haven't played since elementary XD

Only sheet music, I'm envious of people who can play by ear more efficiently

I haven't composed but I really want to try someday, maybe take a few theory /composition classes

My favorite to play is piano but I think the voice is the most beautiful. When you think about it, the voice is the most expressive instrument there is!

i had my time doing some music, but left it to occupy more time into writing, but yeah i think maybe some things might still be out there, i had some songs on Itunes by my stage name Dario Funnel Goldenorbweaver, also prior to that had a solo Project called Lords of Dudleytown, maybe there is still something out on the net lol

Do you play an instrument (or more than one) and if so what?

I play piano, electric guitar, clarinet, and sing

What level proficiency are you: Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced?

Intermediate-advanced at piano, however a beginner-intermediate at all of the other instruments

    How long have you played?

Piano- 8 years, Guitar- on and off one year (but I practice a lot), Clarinet- three years

    How often do you practice?

I will practice at least one instrument per day for half an hour to four hours

    By ear or sheet music?

I am proficient at sheet music but these days the songs I love are not found on sheet music so I just play by ear.

Do you or have you composed any original works?

Yes, I love to compose music on softwares like Logic, and I also have some piano pieces I've composed

What is your favourite instrument, the one you consider most beautiful?

Electric guitar with distortion on it.

I mostly play bass and trumpet, but I know how to play a few more.

I am intermediate for trumpet and beginner for bass.

I played trumpet for 4½ years, and bass since December.

I used to practice trumpet every few days in middle school, every school day in 8th grade, and almost never anymore because I don't have band anymore and I live in an apartment now. Bass, I practice a few times a week.

    I prefer sheet music.

    I have never written music.

    I don't have a favorite.

I'm a former pianist and former violinist. I played violin for seven years, and piano for about thirteen. I was an intermediate with respect to both. While I did play pieces most people would consider advanced, I didn't do so with a high degree of accuracy or consistency. So on violin, I did the second solo part for the first movement of Bach Concerto in D Minor, and I did the first solo part for all movements as well. But I didn't exactly sound like David Oistrakh.

I was much better at piano, but I think the proper humility would still put me at intermediate level. I would only call myself advanced if I completed a music performance major in my instrument of choice. And while I was urged by many people (and myself quite tempted) to pursue piano performance, I was absolutely scared to death by the level of competitiveness, so I just didn't do it. But I did alright, making my way through BWV 1052, Rachmaninov preludes in C# minor and G minor. (Not sounding like Emil Gilels...)

I always learned both by listening (repeatedly), and by sheet music.

I did actually compose some chamber orchestral works in baroque style, but I wasn't very good.

Piano is the best instrument, obviously.

Do you play an instrument (or more than one) and if so what?
    - Piano (classical and modern), and related to it, keyboards
    - Clarinet
    - Tin whistle
    - Guitar...kind of

What level proficiency are you: Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced?
    - Piano/keyboard: Advanced-ish on modern, my teacher said I could consider studying it as a superior degree if I wanted to; intermediate on classical.
    - Clarinet: Intermediate
    - Tin whistle: Beginner
    - Guitar: more than beginner, I'm forgotten level

    How long have you played?
    - Piano: 13 years. Keyboard: 5 years
    - Clarinet: 8 years
    - Tin whistle: 1 year, but I learnt the recorder at school since I was 8
    - Guitar: I played for 3 years, then stopped completely. Just not my thing

    How often do you practice?
    - Piano/keyboard: Every day if I can make it, I try to play at least an hour
    - Clarinet: once a week at band rehearsal
    - Whistle: Several times a week, but nothing serious

    By ear or sheet music?
    Both, but I'm quicker reading.

Do you or have you composed any original works?
Stupid things while I'm playing the piano but I never write them down.

What is your favourite instrument, the one you consider most beautiful?
VIOLIN. Actually it's the one I chose at age 5 but my mum forced me to play the piano because "she didn't want to listen to the awful sound of a violin played by a beginner". Thanks mum

Do you play an instrument (or more than one) and if so what?

    Piano
    Flute
    Piccolo
    Guitar

What level proficiency are you: Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced?

    Grade 1 pass
    Grade 3 pass
    Beginner
    Wanna-be rock star/classic guitarist

    How long have you played?

    4 years
    7 years
    2 years
On and off for 3 years

    How often do you practice?

Hardly ever now, but when I did the longest was 3 hours and least time was 30 minutes

    By ear or sheet music?

    Sheet music

Do you or have you composed any original works?

    Yes, using an online software

What is your favourite instrument, the one you consider most beautiful?

I always wanted to play the violin, I love the way it looks and how it's played. But out of the instruments I play, I like the piano - I'm able to see the keys as it's played.

Additional - I could be really good if I practiced more.

    Piano, violin

What level proficiency are you: Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced?
    Piano: advanced
    Violin: beginner

    How long have you played?
    Piano: approximately 12 years? I can't remember
    Violin: 1 year

    How often do you practice?
Once to twice a week. Whenever I feel like it. It varies? Like when I had lessons, definitely more, but now that I've stopped and am concentrating exclusively on my last half year in high school, like, never.

    By ear or sheet music?
Always sheet. I have relative pitch, which is a pain. But once I've got the sheet music memorised, I never ever forget it.

Do you or have you composed any original works?
Yeah, I had to do one short piece every month in school when I took the music elective program, and then one for the exam. But otherwise, never.

What is your favourite instrument, the one you consider most beautiful?
    Piano. It's just so versatile.

I play viola. I have a guitar but I don't know how to play it very well.

What level proficiency are you: Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced?
I would say that I'm intermediate or advanced, though playing viola doesn't come very easy to me and I have to try pretty hard in order to learn new techniques.

    How long have you played?
    Almost 8 years

    How often do you practice?
    Everyday, usually

    By ear or sheet music?
    SHEET MUSIC

Do you or have you composed any original works?
I have, however they're rough at the moment

What is your favourite instrument, the one you consider most beautiful?
This is a hard question, but I like cello

I used to play bass, did so for a few years....if you can count what I did playing at least. Certainly did not sound like actual music, that's for sure.

I've thought about trying again, but meh. I'm probably going to sell at least one of my basses, maybe both.

Do you play an instrument (or more than one) and if so what?

I play the clarinet. I also sing, if that counts since technically our voice is an instrument as well.

What level proficiency are you: Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced?

Intermediate bordering on advanced in relation to the clarinet, beginner for singing.

    How long have you played?

played clarinet for about 5 years now. just started singing last year

    How often do you practice?

at least an hour a day with the clarinet. singing basically anytime im alone. (im constantly listening to broadway and showtunes. if that doesnt scream nerd i dont know what does lol)

    By ear or sheet music?

a little bit of both. i prefer mostly sheet music for clarinet and mostly ear tho.

Do you or have you composed any original works?

I have not, but i'd like to someday.

What is your favorite instrument, the one you consider most beautiful?

Probably the flute. I have always been in love with the flute and would love to learn how to play it but we don't have any flutes available to use at our school sadly. I also love the violin as well. its close but i think flute trumps it just barely.
