What do you find the hardest/most anoying part about being gay?

1. People thinking I somehow can't be a lesbian because I'm autistic
2. People assuming I'm straight because I'm feminine
3. People thinking that all lesbians find girlfriends at Pride events and gay bars
4. People thinking that I'm into casual sex (it's one thing that really turns me off)
5. People honestly believing that me being a lesbian lessens my intelligence

 

1. People saying how can I be a lesbian if I'm so young.
2. People thinking I just want attention because I'm a lesbian and Genderfluid.
3. People saying I'm being hypocritical for being Genderfluid and not being Pansexual.
4. Boys crushing on me. (I have boobs. This happens.)
5. People saying it's creepy to like girls (like my brother)
6. People thinking I have a crush on them (Mia, I do not have a crush on you. No one has a crush on you. NO ONE.)

 

Homophobic family who think they are not homophobic, yet they decline to meet your bf. The end.

 

Straight girls that are hot

 

The extremely small dating pool. For me it must be at negative 9257 people at this point. Considering I'd already have problems if I were attracted to the opposite gender, it certainly doesn't help my case =D

 

It's ruined business opportunities for me on more than one occasion.

 

Probably the being threatened with death part. Yeah, I'm going with that.

 

Moving aside all of the other discriminatory factors, the most annoying part of being gay is that men as a sex are less likely to be "relationship oriented" than women. Men have a tendency to want to "sow their oats" whereas women are more likely to want to "put down roots" (really? two farming idiomatic expressions in one sentence?). I kinda wished more guys my age would want to be less "let's fuck" and more "let's go on a nice date."

Everyone always assumes I'm straight and when I mention an ex-girlfriend to a girl I like to let her know I like her, she goes "ooohhhhh......sorry". Like hell yes be sorry! No, I'm not straight and yes, I'm hitting on you instead of being friendly! God.

Also, straight guys. Like wtf. I have boobs≠I want you to stare at them. Or touch them. Just.... No. Stay away, creep.

 

Aside from the miniscule dating pool, the ignorance of the masses bothers me to a much more significant degree.

...Yes, I'm gay. That means I can reject straight guys, go find someone else. Your dating pool is massive in comparison, not hard hun.

 

Hmm so far I would say being beaten up and called a faggot by my (ex)best friends who live down the street. Yep that was the worst thing.

 

For me, the hardest part is having to deal with the process of coming out.

 

The hardest thing was coming out to my Brother, but that turned out to be a great.

 

I guess the lack of potential partners or friends to relate to. It can be really lonely when the only way you meet gay guys is on gay apps. It's frustrating too that the guys you like are always straight so you have no chance in hell.

 

Feeling like I don't fit in with other girls and can't relate to them. They're always saying things like, "Isn't he so hot!?" and I just agree awkwardly, not really understanding what all the excitement is about. It gets lonely.

1) Trying to analyze people to try and guess whether they'd accept you or not
2) It's super trivial, but models. Is the sweater actually a nice sweater and look good on me, or is the model just hot :lol:

 

If you live in a small town, your pool of mates on dating apps becomes very, very small and somehow even creepier.

Also, turns out if you look underage, you become elderly bear bait.

 

That's about the only reason I'd ever be kneeling down for anyone.
