    Just curious.

In your social circle, how many of your friends are LGBT+/part of the community sexual orientation or gender-wise? (Damn I should've reworded the title of the thread a bit, too late now.)

The vast majority of my friends aren't, but they've all been pretty supportive of what they know about my sexuality.

I have maybe 3 friends who are in the LGBT+ community. None of them are really close friends, but still friends.

I had one, but we barely talk because she goes to different highschool far away. Besides that, everyone I've ever known was straight.

I do have a couple friends who are LGBT, and my best friend falls under the aro/ace umbrella. I didn't really plan this intentionally, but a lot of people in my larger friend group have come out over the years.

My close group of friends are mostly straight but I have quite a few who are really lowkey LGBT. About 6/7 are bi or gay (or IDGAF) but they don't shout it to the world, I doubt most people know that they're not hetero.

I'm acquaintences with the 'shout it to the world' queer group at college too (about 4 trans* people and loads of queer people sexuality-wise) but I don't like the attention that brings.

I don't have many friends, go figure xD
Most of my friends actually, though I didn't learn that till after I came out. Two of my friends ended up being transgender as well, and after I came out as trans my brother's girlfriend (who is my friend) told me she was pansexual.

Out of my closer friend 3 out of 7 are, and I talk to 3 other LGBT people at my school. Most of the people I talk to at school are not LGBT though, but most of them accept who I am. Well they have to or like I just will try and avoid them.

I have one gay friend and one bisexual friend who was the girlfriend of my best friend for a time--almost every one else I know is straight.

Only 2 (that I'm at least sure of) are, but they're closer than most of my friends.

Many, but no means all. I'm not even sure about "most". Depends on how close of friends you're talking about. And how open-minded you are about admitting people into "the LGBT community".

For instance I do have one rather close friend who is not LGBT, but has experienced sex with both males and females, and he is not poly himself, but his girlfriend is and he's cool with that. Is he in or out of the community? I dunno...technically I'd have to say he isn't...not one of those labels is one he would own, or truly seems to apply to him.

I dont have any lgbt friends....kinda depressing now that i think about it. I know of like 2 people in my neighborhood that are gay but i dont talk to either of them and have never really even socialized with them.

A better question would be, how many of my friends are straight? To which I would reply none.
