Just a fun Q&A thread I suppose for superheroes [+universes and more] in comics/shows/movies. You can skip questions or add your own if you want ~ Marvel, DC, both, or something else? ~ Favourite...? superhero antihero supervillain in-universe location comic book run/series/collection comic artist/illustrator/author superhero or related TV show (e.g. Agent Carter, Jessica Jones) superhero related movie
I love talking about superheros, especially with people who can appreciate the queer ships and headcanons! Superhero: Captain America (+Bucky Barnes, of course. he is NOT a villain) Antihero: Loki (esp AOA or Young Avengers Loki) Supervillain: Hela (I'm not quite sure which category she fits in) In-universe location: That diner the Young Avengers eat pancakes at a lot Comic book run: The Young Avengers series by Gillen and McKelvie (I think thats how you spell it) Comic artist: Lee Garbet (atm, subject to change. he did the Loki: AOA series art) Tv show: Agent Carter (tho I'm really getting into Daredevil, too) Movie: Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Another Young Avengers fan! Whoop! Marvel or DC: Both and other companies like Image and Dark Horse, but leaning heavily towards Marvel Favourite Hero: Rogue and Storm of the X-Men Favourite Villain: Mr. Sinister Favourite Antihero: Loki Favourite Team: The X-Men or the Young Avengers Favourite in-universe location: The Jean Grey School for Higher Learning Favourite Run: Mike Carey's run on X-Men/X-Men Legacy. Absolutely phenomenal. Comic book artist: Olivier Coipel (his work is just so beautiful to look at) TV Show: Jessica Jones Movie: Deadpool
I am a big comicbook nerd. I have been collecting since I was 8. I now just collect copies of all the 1st appearances of the major characters. Some of the grails in my collection are: Hulk #1 Avengers #1 Avengers #4 (1st captain america) Action Comics #252 (1st Supergirl) Daredevil #1 Amazing Spiderman #129 (1st Punisher) Amazing Fantasy #15 (1st Spider-man) X-men #1 Hulk #181 (1st Wolverine) Brave and Bold #28 (1st Justice League) Iron Man #1 Just to name a few off the top of my head. I'm a big Spider-man and Superman fan. My favorite superhero movie was X-men Days of Future Past. My favorite TV show Is Jessica Jones. My favorite villain is a toss up between Loki and Kilgrave. Both guys stole the show from the heros in my opinion. My wife can't stand the fact that I have to go to every superhero movie and doesn't go with me anymore. Which really sucks because now I end up sitting in a movie theater by myself with a bunch of teenage boys. Sometimes I can drag my daughter to them but not often. Anyway it is what it is.
DC, although you'd never guess it from how much I talk about Marvel. :/ superhero - Batman antihero - Red Hood supervillain - The Joker in-universe location - I don't... really know? I've never thought of this before. Maybe Xaiver's (X-Men). comic book run/series/collection - Wolverine's Revenge comic artist/illustrator/author - probably Alan Moore (for The Killing Joke) superhero or related TV show - Teen Titans and Arrow superhero related movie - Captain America: Winter Solider (at least until CW comes out... and I survive it)
DC and Image comics are my favourite publishing houses. Probably Wonder Woman Constantine Scarecrow Daily Planet in Metropolis Anything from the 90s, I grew up then and the work was insane The Flash and Arrow for sure Either X2 or Man of Steel
I've been wanting to get my hands in Constantine's latest series. I've heard good things about it, especially since it portrays John's bisexuality more openly.
Marvel! Me and marvel go way back, I'm sorry DC! I still like batman though! Favourite super hero: Spider-Man Favourite villain: green goblin/ Loki/ Doctor octopus Inverse location: Asgard! Comic book: the original spider man series Artist: Stan lee Tv show: the new batman show about his origins( how ironic) Movie: Spider-Man 1& 2
