    60's Irish/British folk. Not that modern crap with 'pretty-boys' in ironed shirts. Also, I don't like all the 'fusion' stuff (whoever thought up folk-metal needs their head examining).

    I like playing blues on piano, and a bit of Chopin and Scott Joplin. Ilike to listen to comedic songs - Tim Minchin, Mitch Benn etc.

    Rock is usually easy to listen to, metal is more difficult.

    Dark wave, new wave, symphonic metal, gothic metal, heavy metal, death metal, rap rock, 80's rock, electronic rock, symphonic, and synthpop. My favorite bands are The Birthday Massacre, Within Temptation, Sirenia, Amaranthe, The Fixx, Apocalyptica, Krypteria, old Linkin Park (before 1000 Suns), old Evanescence (their first 2 albums), The Pretty Reckless, We Are the Fallen, and The Pet Shop Boys (I love blaring their music and getting stares :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:)

    man, i listen to a lot of music! mostly bands, if it's heavy, i'll like it. with any other music, if it has a good groove or a good melody with it, i might like it as well. I like to listen to a lot of guitar work.
    Metal: Black metal, Death metal, Progressive metal, Traditional metal, Folk metal, Power metal, Stoner metal, Doom metal
    I also listen to Goth and Industrial, Techno(mostly from the 90's and hard kind of techno, maybe darkcore and a bit of aggrotech) punk, classical, latin (old school), flamenco, a bit of reggae, R&B
    some bands i listen to : Bolt Thrower, Hypocrisy, Iced Earth, KMFDM, The Expendables, Fishbone, Behemoth, Kreator, Candlemass, Age of Taurus, Church of Misery, Dulce Liquido, Mortiis, Santana

    A lot of similar threads around here related to music. But this gives me a chance to lay out all of my tastes.

    I love Smooth Jazz, J-Pop, J-Rock, 80s/90s New Age, pop and rock from across the decades (depends on the song), and plenty of orchestral soundtracks (movies and games mostly).

    Hmm I enjoy a lot of different music in fact if you read some of my older threads, you'll find I like a few obscure music genres, which not a lot of people listen to. In fact if I name one of the artists I listen to a lot of people go "Never heard of them." I pretty much expect it from everyone, but then I listen to popular stuff too. Let's just say when it comes to mainstream music I have a little bit of a crappy music taste.
