Rock & Role, ska, punk, psychedelic. I LOVE just about anything that came from the British invasion like The Zombies, The Beatles, The Kinks, The Who, ManFred Mann etc. I like ska too, but not the grungy kind, sort of like sophisti-ska bands include The Specials, StreetLights Manifesto, Rancid, Aquabats etc. Most punk too like The Ramones, The Jam, The Clash, Minor Threat stuff like that. I Dislike rap and country, I can stand that sort of twang in country singers voices.

Willing to try pretty much anything from the 40's up until 1994, so my taste isbquite eclectic, but my favourite genres would be rock, rhythm and Blues, rockabilly, punk, blues, some jazz, rock'n'roll, some such.

Going into bands would take to long. I'd have 5 decade to cover with about 10 bands from each at a minimum.

I tend to have the habit of cherry-picking songs that I like, from almost any genre from pop all the way to polka. Whenever I bought cassettes or CDs, I probably bought them for one or two songs on there, unless it was David Bowie or Queen. I'm a bit happy that things like youtube and itunes are around now, so I can at least try listening to a whole album without having to buy it.

I listen to any genre of music as long as they sound nice but I have a love-hate relationship with rock (I absolutely abhor heavy metal but I can tolerate instrumental metal rock)

I like all kinds of metal but thrash is my favorite.
I also like country, pop, electronic, rap, hip hop, gospel, psychedelic rock, just about anything I guess. I haven't listened to one genre that I haven't liked.

If you couldn't tell by my name, I like alt rock especially 90s. Really don't like rap or anything with banjos and fiddles

I enjoy the works of Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Liszt, Beethoven, Debussy, Gershwin, and some other composers.

Modern music is okay, but I tend to like older pieces, specifically those without any lyrics. This may be because I find it very difficult to make out the lyrics to a song, and songs with lyrics sacrifice melody for meaning. Other modern pieces sacrifice melody for emotion, and also receive much praise.

I don't particularly like Classical music, though, and notice that none of the composers I mentioned are Classical composers. Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, and Rachmaninoff were Romantic composers, Debussy was Impressionist, and Gershwin was modern.

Romanticism is probably the most appealing.

I listen to any genre of music, as long as I like it.

I love rock, metal, emo (MCR, Black Sabbath, Green Day, Beatles, Queen, BVB, etc).

Also Britpop and Alt Rock (Oasis, Blur, Snow Patrol, Keane, Coldplay, etc).

Have you listened to any video game composers, Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy) in particular?

Mmm, let's just say I very much enjoy concept albums of any genre. I have a liking of creative music, but I also listen to popular 90s music including Shania Twain, Britney Spears and Madonna(Erotica, the more underrated album by her), Ace of Base is there as well. Slightly more modern artists are Gwen Stefani, Justin Timberlake. (these are my popular artists). I also like obscure music too, one thing I know is that I don't listen to every genre(mainly because of the amount of subgenres within a single genre). But I will say I'm very likely to give any genre a chance, and yes I do dislike some music and I admit I will judge you if you only listen to popular music, and make claims that it's the best music ever. When clearly honey it ain't, just cause it be popular don't mean it's good. I will give everything a chance, example: Curse ov Dialect, Beyonce(don't really like her albums much). I also listen via albums for most artists.

I listen to a bit of everything, but i have a thing for remixes of video game songs, jazz from the 1920-1960's era, and samba. Basically if a song is nice and melodious and jazzy, i will probabbly like it. No, really

I have always been pretty into I guess you would call it B-rated musicals things like Avenue Q and Silence the musical. I'm SUPER into this one called Hamilton right now.
For the most part I like a lot of indie rock and grunge 90's girl bands. Fleetwood Mac and Dave Matthews are at a pretty high point for me right now too.
I can't stand this new thing it's sort of music without a consistent beat it really throws me off.

I listen to a little bit of everything. My two big genres, though, are rock (all sorts) and classical/opera (I happen to adore opera :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:.)

I think it's easier to list what I don't listen to: country. I DESPISE country music with a white-hot passion.
