If you could start your life all over again, from what age would you do so?

1) tell me best friend i have a crush on him
2) get to university and leave the boring school stuff

The age before puberty started ^_^

 

Age 7. That's when i could redo everything i've messed up and other people have too.

 

The two best ages to be (at least in my opinion) are 6 and 9, at 6 you can dream up massive adventures and at 9 you can actually go on them, I'd love to do those years again without all the stress I put on myself, save that for the age I am now.

 

Memorize all winning lottery ticket numbers, then proceed to go back.
Once I'm the richest woman alive I start my plans for world domination. :badgrin:

 

Hmm, this is a tough one.

There is part of me that would like to go back and redo the college years and beyond in the current time when people are embracing the LGBTQ community more opening than it was when I was in college in the late 1990's/early 2000's. I think I would be able to find a guy to have a relationship in my college years.

But there is the other part. All the struggles I have gone through have made me who I am today. I do not know if I could give that up. I mean my life has been very lonely; I go to bed at night praying for someone to come into my life that I could have a relationship with. So, I do not think I would change anything. The negatives I have faced have made me a stronger person mentally and emotionally. They have also made me more aware of who I really am, and what I want out of life.

So I guess I would not go back....I would live life in the current.

 

I'd be lying to myself if I didn't want to be 13 instead of 33 in today's much more accepting age. However, despite today's attitude of increased tolerance, my (Christian) high school alma mater is much more strict and explicitly forbids any "LGBT behavior". So, there's that. But I sure as hell would want to stand up for myself unlike how I was back then in regards to bullying. I'd also try to have a few more CONSENSUAL sexual experiences at a younger age, just being honest.

Please don't take this out of context because I would never entertain the idea of a sexual relationship with a minor as a 33 year old.

 

I am 28 now i would go back to 17-18, i would of went to college straight after High School. Took school more seriously instead of being the class clown and flying by school. If i known what i known i would not be slaving at an 12 an hour crappy job.

 

Well since 9-10 is when I first started feeling like there was something wrong with me, I think I'd like to start there. Knowing who I was at that age would have been really helpful. However, at the same time, my mistakes I made in my youth are what made me who I am today so I don't really think I would change all that much with re-living my life, just some things.

 

I second this. I was about to vote for 13-14 (so I could choose to study different subject than I did) but then I realized I'm happy with how things are right now. It's not that my life is easy but I can see that all what's happened in the past, especially the bad things, were important and made me who I am now. Moreover I've never loved myself more than I do now. :icon_bigg

 

I would start from birth. It would be scary and confusing having the memories if another person in my mind, but I could avoid every big mistake that I have made and all those things which I regret of, I may even help some people. And, I could use the things that I may know for my own good, like the lottery numbers.

 

I will just go back 1 year, and that's it. I made some bad decisions, but I also have things that I treasure that I can't afford to lose them.
Not too mention I'd terrible be bored if I moved too far back in time. All the new tech, media, films, movies, entertainment, oh no. I don't want to wait for another 10-20 years to watch my favorite show.
And an adult mind in a child body, what sort of things a child does that interest me?
One year backward, that's it.
Or maybe 6 months, well, 9!

I would start my life from age 11 or 12 and avoid coming out until I had graduated, working more on my self esteem/body image and redo some bad choices in terms of my mental health.

 

I would start over after i have my A-Level, so i can do it again and get a better score

 

I'd go back to the evening of February 28, 1995 and go from there.

 

I had a good childhood and don't see a need to re-do that. I'd start at around 17, when I started the process of making decisions that would affect my life. I made a lot of choices as a young adult that I'd rather do differently. The down side is that I'd end up having a lot less sex because most of mine was pre-AIDS and I couldn't recreate that part.

 

Haha, I'd go back to around age 11, so I could catch myself before puberty hits and already know I'd be a transdude. Plus, with the knowledge I have now, my grades would probably end up better?

 

I would like to start again at the age of 11-12. At that age, I still had the innocence of a child, and it was at that time that I started puberty too, which is where my problems began... Lol. If not 11-12 then I'd like to go back to the age of 15/16, where I started exploring the sexual side of things and got into a heap of trouble, and made bad life choices. It was also when I lost my innocence, and that's something I regret deeply, especially the person I lost it to... So yeah, IF ONLY I could go back to those times, and make better life choices. But I want to have the life knowledge that I have now, so that I can make informed decisions about what to do and where to go... If only...

 

For me, there's no point answering this poll because it's impossible. And would it be a good idea?
