I can't be the only person who thinks this'll just embolden Trump supporters and bring more people to his banner.

Trump's official line on this is that it's a protest against economic conditions by both sides. He's also tipped Dean Ambrose to win on Saturday and Third Lanark to win the Champions League this season.

 

Lol @ couldn't handle it. He cancelled it because he met with law enforcement officers and they agreed to cancel to avoid people getting hurt. Most of you guys are as unreliable as the media. He spoke to Don Lemon on CNN and his answers weren't those of someone who couldn't handle it.

CNN covered a lot of the hatred from protesters inadvertently. So much for the first amendment. Protesters claim to be exercising their rights while violating those of others. Thanks Chicago, you did the one exact thing that will make Trump's ratings rise even higher.

Shame he didn't think to do that when his followers were beating the crap out of protestors at his previous rallies. Would have been much more helpful than egging them on.

 

In his phone conversation with Lemon he said that he speaks his mind about the more violent protesters in his rallies but is fair but firm with the rest. He previously said that he adopts an almost automatic ''get them out of here please'' for the regular ones.

I hope you realize that if it wasn't cancelled, people could have died and the protestors would only have themselves to blame, even though the media and most liberals would land the blame on Trump just to take advantage of the situation. The news coverage presentation of the protesters was unintentionally showing them as more violent than Trump's supporters.

 

Ted is frankly very, very scary. Never underestimate a man who thinks his religion is the only way. These are the people who are Zealots and won't stop short to kill for their holy word. Trump is a sexist pig, yes, but the Senate hates him, the Republican party hates him and if elected, he will probably end up being assasinated. Problem solved. So, Trump really is the smaller evil in this situation.

I don't think it would have been wise for Donald Trump to continue with a rally of 25,000 people when hundreds or thousands of protesters are outside ready to combat police to disrupt his rally. Sure Donald Trump might not have been in danger, but his supporters were definitely at risk. Police are there right now. Why has the issue not been resolved yet?

 

It doesn't take the Chicago police department to know that holding a rally where thousands of your supporters are put against thousands of protesters is a bad idea.

 

I'm not sure about that. I can't imagine any candidate being able to handle that mess that the protesters have created.

As for the police, I'd just like to see where you're getting this information from so I can look into it more for myself.

 

I get most of my Chicago news from WGN, and I can't find anything that states the police told him they can handle it. It says the decision to cancel was not theirs (And why would it be? It's Trump's rally.), but I can't find where it says they said they can handle it. Clearly, they can't handle it.

Although, what I've found is that some protesters are about as mean and disgusting as some Trump supporters.

Then it goes on to say Trump's okay with his supporters doing the same to protesters or something.

Perhaps this will backfire against the protesters in the same way the media basically created Trump's campaign by constantly talking about his racist comments.
