I think the title explains my question I'm an 18 year old trans woman in pre transition. Hope to start HrT in about a year or two. Based on this picture do you think I'll be able to pass once I've had HrT and surgery?
Passing is usually not all that general. Some people might see faces and consider them more feminine while some might see faces and consider them more masculine, it just depends on the person and how they naturally perceive faces and certain features. With that said, here's my honest opinion/experience when first looking at the picture: Looking at the thumbnail, my immediate reaction was that you look like you could pass fairly well in most cases. However, when I clicked on the picture and analyzed it a bit more, for me I'd say you'd pass. Otherwise, I'd say you have feminine/soft enough features to have an alright chance of passing depending on the person, but I'd say there's also a chance for you to not always pass(again, just depends on the people). So I'd honestly say the chances are 50-50.
I think you have soft, feminine features already. Depending on how you dress and present yourself, I'd say your chances of passing now are fairly high. And with HRT? You'd be a knockout. You have the makings of a "classic hollywood actress" appearance (like Marylin Monroe) which I find quite beautiful.
Totally agree, and with HRT, it would be literally impossible for anyone to say otherwise. You pass very well as is, and I would certainly have thought you were assigned female at birth based on your picture. Best of luck, don't let the bastards grind you down
