I get petrified just watching videos of them so I can't imagine really enjoying going on one. I've never been on a rollercoaster.

I love 'em. I miss going to Cedar Point, in Ohio, when we lived in Michigan. Great amusement park, great roller coasters.

Oddly enough, my bf/husband worked there one summer when we were in college. He worked in the arcade, which was pinball and video games, at the time. Went to visit a few times...miss going there.

Yes totally. Love them all, even though I'm terrified 90% of the time!

I still laugh at all the photo ending rides, my reactions all the time are so bad. I'll never forget Universal Studios Jurassic Park The Ride.

    Now water parks, that's a different story...:help:

As a whole, I like them, but it also depends on the roller coaster. I love the ones that make you feel like you're flying. I hate the ones that make you feel like you're falling.

You've been there! Completely agree with your assessment of Kingda Ka. I think it lasts less than 30 seconds. Dat drop tho.

The funny thing about El Toro is that, because it's a wooden roller coaster, it doesn't have any inversions nor vertical loops, but it makes up for it in the, um, sound department? The way the wood creaks loudly and violently as you pass at top speed gives the impression that the whole structure is gonna collapse at any moment lol. Fantastic for debuting roller coaster virgins

Holy shit! Do share your experience if you go through with it!

    I like them :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I've only ever been to La Ronde in Montreal, but I'm pretty sure I did all the roller coasters there is there.

I don't know which is my favorite between Cobra and Goliath, though. The first is a messy roller coaster in which you're standing up, but it's almost always closed when I go :/ The second is a very fast and very tall roller coaster, but it's one of the only ones in the park that doesn't go upside down. Ednor, or however they spell it, is also very cool, but it's not nice on the head :S Like, it shoves your head back and forth on the head cushions because of how fast it goes x)

Others, such as Boomerang, are also cool. It's the only roller coaster in the park to go backwards!

I haven't went in a few years, but it's always fun to go to that theme park :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I've not been on a roller coaster for years but used to love the 'Black Hole' at Alton Towers - you knew the drop was coming but not quite sure when

Loch Ness Monster at Busch Gardens VA is absolutely insane! It does loops over a pond in the center of the park.

If I spin on a tire swing for literally only 1 second I already want to barf so I don't even think about going on a rollercoaster. The only time I went on them was when I forgot certain rides were rollar coasters and said 'Okay' to going on it :l
