I discovered I was gay a couple of years ago, even though I didn't completely know it at the time. I'm not sure how to come out to my parents, my mom would not care, but I have a dad who has never been comfortable with gays, and I'm just not sure what to do.
Just say it to him and have someone there with you like a close friend and they will probably protect you if things go wrong
I'd say if you want to, go for it. Or maybe you just want to tell your mom. Go for it. Just have a back up plan. And if in the end, you don't want to them then that's fine. Although if you're still living with your parents just do it with extra caution. You probably will stick with them until you graduate.
Jake, I would tell them both at the same time. Just tell them you are the same person, but you are gay. It shouldn't be that bad. Tell them that if they have any questions, they can visit EC.
