    Hi,
    i just really wanted to show you guys this cool picture i took of the moon because i find the moon beautiful and my friends would not really care if i showed them.
    that was all but while i am here how is everyone doing?

    i am not entirely sure i did not even know if it would work but i turned the zoom up on my camera all the way and i used a longer shutter exposure setting.

    You adjust the shutter speed to the slowest/longest your camera would allow, point it at the moon, and leave it completely motionless while it takes the shot (use a tripod).

    You took the picture with a telescope ?
    I had one once but I couldnt seem to make it work, it wouldnt magnify to see the moon the way u see in your picture :frowning2:
    Are there more things u can see ? like orion ? how big can u magnify stars ? are they still so far away u only see a dot of light ?

    Yeah this picture is better then my telescope. When I look at the moon through that £100 peice of junk all I see is a big white blob. You can see all the moons little details and everything. Epic work!
