I would (and have) done the isolation in nature, without connection to the rest of the world... but the darkness part seems sort of pointless.

Can't you just go to jail and get thrown into solitary instead? It's free that way.

Ten days wouod be better I think. I would do it. No clocks would be odd. I think I would not sleep daily, more like every 25 or 26 hours.

I'd totally do it, but the no internet makes me hesitate, mostly because I love the internet. I don't really know what I'd do without it for a week.

I have a pretty big fear of the dark and my biggest fear is being left alone with my thoughts so I probably wouldn't do this. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I actually can do it, the deal breaker is actually the food they bring. I cant live without chocolates or meat for one whole week!

Nope! I'm an introvert, but I'd go insane after 2 weeks. Plus it would be bad for my health if I spent 49 days in darkness. I need sunlight and other things.

When you say darkness I assume you to mean no artificial light; nor sensory deprivation. The diet would be difficult for me, but the rest sounds like heaven. No phone, e-mails, computers apps, or social medial. I can't help, but think how therapeutic it would be. If allowed books, I might never leave.

The people who already experienced this said eating in the dark was actually fun and pretty tasty because you can't see the food you're eating. You can just touch it, smell it and taste it, that's all.

I'd rather eat something nice and healthy though.

I will but it won't be earlier than in June.

No meat but you could still take some chocolate with you.

When I say darkness I mean you're in a cabin without any window and everything is pretty black so reading wouldn't be possible.

Well, anything to make a dollar, I guess.

I suppose if you can afford it, fine, sounds like therapy for the well-off.
