Well they aren't invented yet but researchers and scientists are working very hard to create them. They can be pretty useful for gay men in particular. What do you guys think

I would never want to give birth, much less get some type of surgery which will leave even more issues with my body, when I can adopt.

I have no interest in having kids, but such a tech could be incredibly useful for people trying to have children (regardless of orientation), high risk pregnancies, etc.

    Bring it on.

I don't think we should mess with procedures to bring more kids in an already over-populated world. I think people who can't have kids just have an obligation to adopt. But that's just my opinion.

I will never do this and will never let my man do it either.

I like this. I would much rather do this than adoption.

This is a great opportunity for everyone! Think about the increase in productivity when women can keep working throughout the pregnancy without any of the associated risks!

Overpopulation is a weasel word. What constitutes overpopulation? Is it global or regional issues? In my opinion overpopulation is a problem with the developing countries that cannot support their own population. It's definitely not an issue with most industrialized countries (apart from some really densely populated ones).

    lo,

I won't vote as my answer is inbetween. As long as it's used so that people can have a baby they want and will keep safe. If someone's going to use technology to mass produce babies and then do experiments on them or abuse them, then no.

I'm not sure. I know we are pretty advanced in medicine but that sounds really high risk, not something I would try if I were a man. Besides, if fertility treatments are allowed to progress to the point where even the most sterile person can be made able to give birth, than I can't help but think of all the children in foster care that won't get adopted because anyone can have their own baby(not saying that fertile people don't adopt, but I'm sure that the numbers of kids adopted would certainly go down if infertility was eliminated). Population is already a major problem, and there are so many kids without a home already.

That would be nice and not just for gay men. Pregnancy is such a pain. If this worked, women wouldn't have to stop their routine to have a baby.

I'm scared they'll have more birth defects.

Totally fine. My only concern would be if they needed to exchange the artificial uterus after a few years.

If usable for people, and if it won't mean danger to the child or so, and it won't be extremely resource demanding, then sure. That picture looks like Mewtwo in the Pokémon movie, haha.

I know my MtF sister wants to have kids. Myself, as a boy, I would love to give birth...
