Practically everything. It was a mix of having an auditory processing disorder and being a reader. I read a lot of stuff that was above my grade level so I'd pick up on words that I'd never heard in conversation. Then when I'd go to say the word, I'd completely mangle it. One example? "guntar" for guitar, "off-ih-cal" for official, and "oo-jah" for Ouja board.

I kept saying pacific instead of specific

And when I was younger the words devil and double always came out sounding the same. So I was playing soldier with some of my bro's toy and yelled "March on the devil" and my dad came in and beat me for "trying to work for the devil"

And ship came out as shit but never got in trouble for that.

Basically every single English word, and I'm 19.

Well, it's kinda hard to mispronounce a French word once you can read. So I can't remember any of them.
But yeah, 'till middle school I would have a hard time pronouncing "défibrillateur" (day-fee-bree-lah-tuh-rh) which is defibrillator in English, I'd say "défribrilitateur" (day-free-bree-lee-tah-tuh-rh) or any barbaric variations...

    Cucumber for the longest time.

Used to say kyu-kyumber then cu-cumber (without pronouncing the y)...finally got it right though

The english language is awful though when it comes to pronounciations as he spelling often gives you little guidance!

I know two other languages and it is harder to muck up the pronounciation in them as they have a phonetic alphabet so it is evidently clear how you pronounce the words.

Hey me too! I read so much when I was younger that I would have all these words that I didn't know how to pronounce. Even today I find I stumble over words because I'm more apt to second guess my pronociation.

I used to say 'espidoya' when I was trying to say 'espiradora', which is Spanish for 'vacuum cleaner'. That's the funniest one I can think of right now.

Brother was Bubba. Now my dad calls my brother Bubba. It's so embarrassing for BOTH of us when we're in public!

I pronounced "nostalgia" as gnaw-sta-lagia XD
And I always thought I pronounced hiatus right as hi-uh-tus. Apparently it's hi-ate-us or some bullshit like that?

When I was very young, I would say bashroom instead of bathroom.

That's how I pronounce it on a normal basis... Do you pronounce it differently in Alabama?

Think used to be fink. I don't remember too many words I mispronounced. But it was enough for me to be put in a speech class that I don't remember taking..?

Also, to frustrate people, I will bring up the topic of the word "pecan". I say pih-kahn.

I used to add in unnecessary syllables. For example:
    Consistency became Constituency
    Capital became Capi-pap-ital
    America became Amer-eer-ica
    Fabulous became Fab-a-bab-ulous

My sister's kids both call me "Uncle Monkey" because neither of them could say my name right when they were younger.

My dad was kind of OCD about pronunciation, so if there ever were words I said wrong, I wouldn't remember because he had a tendency to drill me until I got them right.

I don't know, but for me I was always corrected when I said the letter "h". I would pronounce it as in the "hey" sound.
