I was always into biology and watching nature programs, so I knew about "mating" and "sexual reproduction" as a pre-teen. I think that's why I was naive when beginning puberty and thinking I was straight.

My parents never gave me "The Talk", they just handed me a book that explained it in the most clinical way. Luckily, by that time, I had discovered games and videos on the internet that explained it all to me.

School and the Internet. I was pretty lucky I guess that I had a good sex Ed teacher. My parents never sat me down and explained it not even proper hygiene with my penis. I just learned all this myself due to the modern age called the Internet.

School, with friends watching porn, from mom who's a nurse. I had a pretty comprehensive sex education by grade 9, which it was all straight sex.

Like a lot of people of my generation.. the internet. I don't remember how old I was exactly when I first came across a porn video.. but I remember one of my friends showing me one on his computer. I was about 11 or 12. I eventually stumbled across gay porn and the rest is history.

Fourth grade in school. Kids love porn. Especially showing it to others. Older kids with porno magazines in back of the bus didn't help either. :/

I remember the scene really clearly. It was the summer after 4th grade. Our daycare was at a bowling alley. Some song about lines and coconuts come on. My best friend at the time whispers, "Do you know what sex is?" And proceeds to tell me the straight version. Yeah. He got into a ton of trouble (dragging me down with him) when he told a 1st grader that.

Seeing adult swim while my parents didn't know about late night programming made me ask them a lot of questions. I learned most of the things about sex by the time I was 9 or 10.

It was mostly reverse-engineering all those stupid innuendos actually.

My friends shoved yaoi in my face for a year when I was around 11-13. Since then been hooked on it (yaoi), and I explored for myself, too.

I tried to look it up when I was twelve, thinking there was no such thing as search history...

    Yep.

    That was an awkward conversation.

I had this crazy teacher and she was completely nuts! She explained us at a very young age and without any reason actually. We all felt super awkward. then a few year later we had to go through it again with another teacher. When I went to highschool it got explained to me AGAIN! I guess it's better than sitting with your parents in a room talking about it. Most of the other things I learned from the internet (obviously).

My best friend first told me and then my mom talked to me about it when I was 7 even though I didn't exactly get it and she didn't go into detail. I later learned more when I was in sixth grade during sex Ed...then when I came out in eighth grade my parents tried to tell me what they knew about it...and other than that TV and the Internet

The good old internet. Though I wish I looked it up on wikipedia or google rather than to get introduced to it via porn. It scarred me at first. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Some vague sex ed lessons, mainly the internet though. My Dad came up to my room one night when I about 14ish and started saying something along the lines of "Daniel you might start feeling attracted to girls soon..." to which I interrupted immediately and told him that I had already had sex ed lessons and said that we really didn't need to have this conversation. Something I think we were both grateful for.

At the age of seven or eight I was handed a book that explained sex in a way a young child could understand. Was given a more advance version of the book when I was ten. I think they were christian sex ed books as well.
They had sex ed at school starting in 5th grade, but till 7th grade you had to have parent permission to be taught it and my father always refused to let me attend.

School covered mainly periods and pregnancy, they didn't really go into things like safe sex and such, they made it sound like this thing that's dirty unless it's for making babies. Also, a friend of mine from school had a dad that was an amateur porn director, he had a whole walls worth of porn. It was pretty awkward visiting said friend. I suppose that's why I personally avoid the topic of sex since I feel a lot of confusion and uncomfort towards it, I never really learned anything about it.
