    Well, from what I've seen in my time here, a lot of EC members love Metal. I'm mostly into Death Metal, Black Metal, and Power Metal. It just so happens that right now I'm listening to Nightcore and it ain't Metal lol

    Bands? Dismember, Bloodbath, Dissection, Malevolent Creation, Emperor, Dark Funeral, Powerwolf, Sabaton...

    One of the first Power Metal bands I listened to was Rhapsody of Fire. Still awesome :slight_smile:

    I'm a huge fan of metal. I'm mostly into extreme metal, including all kinds of doom, black and death metal, and my main genre is funeral doom. Sometimes I can enjoy some mainstream metal, too.

    I used to be into black metal to the point of obsession. I would know like 50+ bands just of this genre.

    Right now I just like music I consider good. Among which metal is also found... and that spans from popular stuff like Metallica to some more obscure bands of various subgenres.

    These days I prefer more peaceful music, most of the time... but I love my metal anyway :grin:

    I like the Japanese metal band Girugamesh! And I'm starting to get into symphonic. I LOVE it so much. And I see, that when I try to compose I naturally gravitate to symphonic metal of sorts.

    I played with Cauldron and Toxic Holocaust about 5-6 years ago. Cauldrons guitarist was HAMMERED at the show.
