So I have a question about anal fistulas. I feel like I have one but there has never been any pain, puss or drainage of any kind. It feel like, and this is going to sound superficial, but cosmetically I don't like it. It makes me self conscious. Do they heal naturally? I would also like to know what causes these? I believe dildo play can cause them, so go careful I used to have one and had to have two operations on it so now have to go very careful indeed Nothing to be embarrassed about though Dude !
Don't know what causes them, but I have had them twice. One just went of its own accord, and another I got some ointment and that cleared it up. Frankly I would advise you go and see your doctor. It is nothing to be ashamed of. They are not particularly uncommon, and your doctor will have seen them before. But they can get worse, and then you would need an operation, so best get it sorted.
