I do the same thing with eggs, I hold them in my hand and thinking "People say testicles are as heavy as 2 eggs in average, are they really that heavy?" Every single time.
Very very mature when around those in higher positions of power than I (teachers, etc) but more like snorting-milk-flavouring, aloofy-me when around friends. For example, I CANNOT BRAIN TODAY. I HAS ZE DUMB.
People say that? Interesting. I was curious so I grabbed two eggs and then grabbed my testicles to make a comparison.. the jury is still out on that one.
I'm not mature at all. There are times though when I can be when I'm serious about something but other than that I consider myself really young in the maturity department.
I used to be extremely mature. I "lost it" when it was 16! The main thing is that I can be serious when I need to be. I got a low score for the "serious" type on the oldham personality test and I read the book. Oh, my high school bullies were envious of me! Thankfully, college was way better. Some people try to bring you down if they know you have something that they wish they had. But people that get in my way are like idiots playing on a railroad. Choo choo motherfuckers! :roflmao:
Well, not long ago I was an immature homophobic asshole, but even though I matured late it was rather fast and all at once I suppose.
I always thought I was mature... but looking back I kind of realize I was never as mature as I thought I was. I'm probably average maturity. Fuck it. I'm immature. I embrace the kid in me.
As mature as you'd expect from a 17 year old. I mean, I'm competent as far as teens go, but as Skaros said, you're always far less mature than you might like to imagine, at least at this age.
There's a time and a place for everything. I'm mature when I need to be, and immature when I want to be. Even when I'm with my friends in my film class I'm still the most mature one in the group. At least that's what they say. <3
I'm some regards, I'm an old soul. In other regards, I can be immature. I guess it really depends on the situation. By and large, I think I'm usually professional and collected.
I started off very mature. I was the oldest of four children, but after my sister died, my parents went into a depression and I had to grow up fast to take care of my younger brothers. Dad became abusive, hit me over every little mistake, so I learned quickly what was right and what wasn't. However, I'm learning how to take life less seriously and being more happy.
I've always been very mature for some reason. I was, and still am, the responsible one and the person people can count on.
Same here. I was a very serious and mature acting kid, all the way through my mid 20's. The more life experience I have acquired, the fewer f's I give about the things you're supposed to do and care about as a responsible, mature adult. To some extent, I think it's because I kind of cheated myself out of the normal kid stuff people need to work through when I was a kid by trying to act so grown up, but mostly, I think it's just a change in perspective regarding what I think is important for my life.
Hmm. Good question. Behaviorally, I match my age pretty well, but when it comes to interests and reading ability I'm above average.
The only time I'm mature is when the script of a play calls for it. Otherwise, I'm immature, hyperactive, spontaneous, and liable to randomly dance.
