i was wondering which to get, please bear in mind that i have not played any games within these series before so all features will be new to me. i also really like customisation
I'm kind of interested in BO3 because apparently you're gonna get to play the game out of order if you want to.
I've always had more fun playing Call of Duty, but I expect you'll get mixed opinions on this. Battlefield: Vietnam was awesome back in the day though.
Black Ops 3 has zombie mode, the best damn thing about Treyarch's CoDs, so, that's a no-brainer for me.
I'm no fan of the CoD series, but if it's your first then I think you should pick BO3 if only for the fact that Hardline is complete garbage. The online community in BO3 should be large while the community in Hardline declined quite fast due to how crappy it was.
problem is that i get spawn camped (im playing the BO3 free weekend on steam) over and over and its not that fun having that happen, im just looking for a game that i can really test my new quad core out on
Then why choose between two games that really aren't that great? If you want a solid shooter, I highly recommend Titanfall; it's a bit lacking in content and has suffered low population due to it, but the core gameplay is brilliant and it's dirt cheap on PC.
As a person who has never played an fps in depth; what's the difference? They're the same, surely? You run around with a gun and shoot people, you die and respawn and run around a bit more and shoot some more guys.
Yeah, but who would say that? A person that has never seen banjo kazooie or super mario bros 3 would obviously be able to tell that they are different games, with obviously different character, dimensions, areas, etc., but to me, an fps involves a generic looking guy who with a generic looking gun in a generic looking area, with no real distinct differences between a and b. A person that has never seen Call of duty or battlefield probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference, and might guess correctly by fluke not obvious difference between the two.
no its like saying generic grey online military shooter is virtually indistinguishable from generic grey online military shooter. I can't even tell the difference and I like shooters, well sometimes anyway.
I used to play a bit of COD but I was a terrible player on it. My KD was a .2 Then again, online games are just "online" it's not real life so I could give a rat's ass. But I got bored of online games.
