Stress will be the death of me, yet I seem to thrive when stress is placed upon me.

Tried to bathe my cat for the first time. It did not go well at all. Now I'm covered in scratch marks and he is locked out until I'm not so mad at him anymore. Jesus fucking... It's just water you big wuss! Ugh, dogs >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> cats.

I swear, whenever someone gives me a look of pity or asks where I got all these scratch marks on my forearms are from...

Never self-harmed, so it's a totally strange feeling!

We have flea issues during the summer around here so cat bathing was a must.
Unless you have a declawed cat (had one and never recommend doing that yo your cat.) then scratches are unavoidable. But it does help to hold the back of neck (won't let me say s ***** from some reason?) of their neck firmly. We also used a small little pink pan that we placed in the kitchen sink and filled half way up with water. They tended to be better if only there paws were the things getting wet. Turn running water off when shampooing, they were calmer then as well. But hell breaks lose once we turned it back on. Also was probably a bit easier since we had washed them since they were 4 months old.

And now my ex has enlisted his friend to talk to me in order to convince me to take him back and 'talk' to him. Fuck me. She literally said, and I'm not making this up at all, that "I know he can be opinionated and over welming and his anxiety and paranoia can get the best of him but he is truly a good guy with a good heart"

-_- I didn't need to be guilted into dealing with my ex on the day of my hormone intake appointment. He knows good and damn well why I ended things and he needs to move on.

Stay strong and get out of there. I know you'll get out of this okay. I believe in you and hope that you'll find happiness soon.

Forgot that I had to do an informational interview for this one class I'm doing. So I decided to ask one of the faculty for the school that I desperately want to go to, might as well try my hardest to get a foot in the door. I don't get paid for my time in this class until I finish everything that's required, hope it works out.

I hate living in the city sometimes. I can't imagine living in Toronto or NY...

Yeah, now I'm feeling queasy and lightheaded thinking about "the other shoe" and my judgmental in-laws coming in November. I'm going to either puke, shit a house, or cry in a ball soon--and I'm not sure which it will be. Fuck, I'm not ready for the rest of today and I just want to sleep for a hundred years.

I'm obsessed with considering how my life would be if my personal wealth grew into the hundreds of thousands/low-millions. I wonder if it will ever happen. If I were to suddenly inherit some money, the first things I'd do were buy myself an apartment and a brand-new first car.

It's interesting to me that I am perfectly happy with what I have and don't aspire to money, but sometimes a lust for wealth can creep up on me unexpectedly and haunt me for a while.

It bothers me irrationally when people can't spell/use incorrect grammar. I'm not meaning typos, just full on misspelling.

The one thing I hate about nicer weather is people standing outside and gossiping. I'm only on the second floor so I can hear people outside rather easily. I have my windows open right now and it's rather annoying having this background noise of people talking through my music. I wish I had better headphones.
