If anyone out there is a teacher and has to fill in evidence for evaluations for yourself then you know the pain of my morning.

So I have to waste time proving I'm doing my job instead of doing my job. Yay beauracracy!

 

*sigh* Fucking websites. Web design and animation, my Achilles' heels. One because I've never managed to learn it proper the way I wanted to due to being able to get by with half-measures, the other because I just fucking hate it—fuck animation, in the ass, raw—yet I cannot avoid them any longer. Gotta get neck-deep into them even if I have to drag myself kicking and screaming in order to move forward.

Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. Grrrrrrrrrr, dammit. Dammit!

Reason #59 I'm glad things are over with my ex. Whenever we used to fight, he'd send selfies of himself crying to try and guilt me. I'd also get the whole "well my friend/mom/roommate thinks you're being a jerk too" routine.

But I shouldn't be focusing on this right now. With my family. We actually went to Universal yesterday (they have annual passes too- so jealous). Staying for a couple of weeks and then I get home.

I don't understand my brain's logic.

 

I'm livid right now. My hometown's village idiots on the city council voted 6-1 to turn the main road from he south end of town to the north from a four-lane road to a two-lane road with a center turn lane and two five-foot-wide bike lanes:



Ever since they built the Pulte subs, the main intersection on the north end of town has been a nightmare. You've got tons of people coming from the north from I-75, and tons of people coming from the south from northbound I-75, and that intersection can take 15 minutes to get through in the evening rush hour.

Now the main police/fire/ambulance route will be a bottleneck in the evenings and just wait until somebody gets killed on their bicycle. Not to mention hardly anybody ever bikes that stretch of street. The council did amend the bill to allow it to be reconsidered next year, as they're going to make the change when they do their annual road repainting in June.

Here's what the long holdout had to say:

Councilmember (Redacted) voted against the road diet plan. “I feel like walking off this council,” said (redacted) during council discussion. “I feel like I’m talking to the brain-dead.”
