I want to listen to Corin Tucker Band more, but I want to watch Saturday Night Live. I guess I have to watch SNL, and listen to Corin Tucker Band during commercials.

I came out on another forum that I've been a part of for 5 years and now there's a thread in the debate section about "why 'transgenderism' is wrong". Theres every part of my childhood on there i should have just left and not come out.

I'm still confused, I can't really wrap my brain around it. And now it won't be daylight when I catch my bus in the morning anymore! :frowning2:

^Basically, more daylight, less nighttime. What time do you catch the bus?

Just got the last of the stuff that's staying at our house unloaded. Now it's a quick drive to Flint so my aunt can have her stuff and then we're done.

Ugh, I hate to vent but something bothers me.

Why is it that some people feel the need to demonize others for things, which they themselves didn't know about until not to long ago? For example, if someone learns about the historical pain and oppression tied to a certain word---something which, again, they didn't know about until recently nor did they know was actually a slur; that's fine. But, if someone the next day uses that word; they'll give disgusting looks, and demonize the hell out of them and say they're a shitty person. Again, someone who had the very same amount of information as that person about the word. Why do so many people expect others to suddenly have the same knowledge about topics as them after being enlightened?

I never understood that. Why are some people given the luxury of being able to grow as a person (or just get a free pass all together despite their action being public), but god forbid someone who isn't that educated makes a mistake or apologizes for something messed up they did--then it just won't fly and that person isn't redeemable. Maybe I'm making a big deal out of nothing, but it messes with me knowing that I was told someone who I went to school with (who made very transphobic comments) is allowed to grow as a person, but a Youtuber who makes a heartfelt apology saying he's sorry for the offensive videos he's done and didn't know the painful history behind what he was doing gets blasted and isn't allowed to learn from what he did.

Someone help me understand this, because I'm so confused.
