You know what I want to see?

Trump gets the nomination by proxy, then, Rubio or Cruz break off and run their own campaign as the alternative to Trump. Republican Party breaks in two.

Sanders then follows suit and runs his own campaign after Clinton gets the nomination. Democrat Party breaks in 2, finally giving a stomachable option for Progressives to vote with.

The Two Party system in the US is abolished forever, and we get four main Parties going forward....pipe dream, I know.

I've accomplished a lot within the past 7 days. It's insane. Plus yesterday I finally created a list of most of my video games... I'm sure I'm forgetting some, but that's okay. My next objective is buying a ps4 and upgrading the hard drive to 2tb. I found a method on teh internet to install 6tb, but I'm wary about the reliability of it. I gotta make sure I get the new PS4 model!

Maybe I really don't belong anywhere... I have no one to love and no one to love me back. No friends, i'm worthless. People run away from me, if they would only understand the way I feel and what i'm going through. :frowning2: :tears:

Sanders supporters can say whatever they want, but the reality is that the situation is the equivalent to being down three touchdowns with a minute left in the fourth quarter. Is it possible? Sure. Is it likely? Not even close.

If Sanders cared about keeping the Presidency Democratic, he'd give a concession speech and move on. Instead he says he's going to keep going to the convention, further dividing the party and hurting Hillary Clinton's chances in the general. Don't say I didn't warn you.

^My post said nothing about Sanders, that was all the thread...which got shut down because people took the topic far too seriously... just making that clear.

    ------------
    That being said,

I rather wish the Republican and Democratic parties would break in two due to Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders, respectively.

Hillary Clinton's views are not representative of a large number of people who vote Democrat due to lack of other viable candidates. That needs to change and the two party oligarchy needs to die.

That was the comment I would have made to the topic of the thread is all.

This highlights the flaws of your thought process - and people similar to you. We see it in the UK as well - people won't vote for the person they align with most closely because they believe that person to be unelectable (usually down to prevailing media narrative), so they lend their support to the candidate they see as having the best chance of being elected - but if everyone who thought that way actually voted for the person they really wanted, then the result would be totally different and Bernie Sanders would probably stand a better chance. Nobody actually thought Trump would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination and now he has a very good chance of actually getting the presidency. That's what happens when people vote for the candidate they actually prefer, rather than allowing media-driven spiel to scare them.

It's crazy, isn't it? People voting Clinton are cowards. You think you are voting for a left-wing president? You're not - you're voting for a criminal, who changes her opinion at the drop of the hat and is as inspirational as a wet fart. You're doing your country and your party a massive disservice by voting for her. I'm not American so I don't have to live with the consequences but if it's Trump or Clinton, who cares? Everything stays the same. If public opinion suddenly shifted against LGBT people then you can bet Clinton would change her tune along with them. She doesn't give a shit about you - she only cares about her political career. Horrible human being in every sense of the word.

On another election news item, Ben Carson's campaign bit the dust.
