    I was doing so good with losing weight but with both my dad and my step dad having terminal stage 4 cancer I gave up.

    Just shave it off, the upper lip. In 2 minutes you are done.
    You could also shave the fuzz on your cheeks.

    A good motivation would be you wanting them to see you slim and fit. People who is going through such stuff do value a smile and seeing others happy. They also value hugs. You can do a lot for them.

    Ok, I'm going to make THE dinner today... Or at least try to.
    I'll make the dinner my deceased friend and me used to eat on saturdays... THE dinner he used to cook for me. It has been almost three years without that dinner, and finally I'm going to cook it myself (*cough* or try to) just to honor him, and the good times we had. I'll try also to get a Berliner Kindl.

    This one is gonna be for you, fool... I hope you are laughing up there as I f... up and curse on the kitchen...

    I can't believe that I'm teaching regular verb conjugation in French to another French native. How did she go through elementary and high school without even knowing the basic verb tenses??

    Education is pretty much useless if they never notice something as critical as this.

    I'm terrified to come out to my dad in a couple hours. Everyone I've told have been supportive and accepting so far but I'm so scared for this. I'm hoping that if we go out for dinner and we're in a public setting he can't get too angry... god I'm so nervous.
