Country. I grew up in a very rural area, and tend to relate to people who've come from a similar background; my partner, who I met at college is also from a rural area.

Plus, I think boys are cuter in the country, and seem healthier. Whenever I go back up to northern Michigan, I'm always amazed at how much better people tend to look, in general. I'm not sure if it's the air pollution or other toxins, but people seem to age more harshly and not have as healthy a glow in big cities.

I also think that it's unfair to say 'country' people are somehow not as sensitive, intellectual, or artistic; you may not see such sorts in concentrated numbers, but when you do find them, they tend to be more quirky and interesting. (Like me!(And modest, too!))

City for me. I was raised in a rural area and unfortunately live in one now. I miss the city.

I find the opposite to be true here. People in cities like London tend to look a lot better than their rural counterparts. I think the biggest difference is that in rural areas, there are a lot of overweight people, but to me it seems guys in cities just take better care of themselves in general - they dress nice, they exercise, they moisturise, etc.

I'm not a fan of big cities myself (yes, Toronto is considered big  ). So I guess country boys or smaller city boys

Country, but who's adapted to city life. Someone who's open to the world, but who's also got a good idea about where I've come from, too.

A country boy who can also fit in in the city scene. I grew up on the edge of a city. Like corn fields a mile from my house, a farmers exchange down the road, and relatives in both. Definitely a mixture.

You know there are hybrids, right? I'm a fairly enlightened guy who enjoys living in the city (when he was there) but grew up in a small town.

I'd probably prefer someone who doesn't want me to live in a city with over 100 000 of population. It's okay for studying, but once I'm done, I'm getting the hell away. I need my space and nature :astonished:

Plus, the people in the regions of Quebec have a closer mentality to my own. After being in Quebec City for a while, it's quite striking how we generally don't think the same at all.

    I consider myself a country boy with yuppie city influences. Such as, but not limited to;

    - I drive a Volvo sedan (city)
    - The Volvo has West Virginia stuff and a STIHL license plate cover (country)
    - I live on a farm (country)
    - I completely landscape the yard, even bag the grass clippings (city)
    - I drink very fancy/luxurious imported beers (city)
    - I have a long beard and (currently) shaggy hair (country, esp. if I am wearing camo or hunter orange, but could be city)

SO, to answer the question, as long as he is cute.

I would say guys in the city.

I find almost everything country repulsive.

Why not both? Country guys turn me on but city boys have a personality that's closer to mine even though I live in a smallish town with about 15 thousand people

As someone who grew up in the country, definitely city boys. I want to move to a large city after college, and I don't think many other country boys would want to do that as well. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I'm in the same boat.. tractor?.. as Bryan. Born and raised in the country, though I've always been more about video games and gadgets than farming and hunting. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: So definitely prefer more of a city-boy. Don't think I could stand the farm-hand, camo-wearing type. :S

Unless they were hella cute.. and sweet.. and-.. yeah, so anyway. :3

I'm a city kid and could never live in a rural area, so I would prefer to date other city kids. Or a country boy who is willing to move to a big city
