Well I mean. By a literal translation (which is fucking stupid, by the way, because pan is a Greek term yet sexual isn't. It should really be panphilis as the noun and panphilic as the adjective), one finds "attraction to all". So it isn't unjustified to include necrophilia under that.

Of course, we don't work by literal translations.

    I only find necrophiliacs attractive.

Never seen this before. I imagine it's frustrating, particularly for those who identify as pansexual, but honestly I'd scoff at it and just leave it behind. Why even give them the satisfaction? Their false claims can't do any actual harm to pansexuals, anyway, the large majority of people know the differences and that the two don't relate, and those who don't know can look it up and find out.

Just let them say what they want, whether they believe it themselves or not. If they refuse to acknowledge the difference even after several links of proof and confirmation, chances are they are most likely if not guaranteed to just be fishing for attention/to 'get peoples' goats'. Or if they truly are in denial, just let them live in their own world. We all know that the two aren't related, so don't let them bother you.

Time for a (terribley written, terribley paraphrased) story.

One day, I return home from school. This is like many other days and nothing so far suprising has happened. My dad asks how are you and I respond fine, I make coffee, etc. then my sister says (after some other stuff leading up to this conversation) 'I have a friend who came out as pansexual today'
My father then says 'what does that mean? Yada yada yada.'
She then responds 'it means that she'll do it with pretty much anything. Hell, she'd probably do it with a donkey'

she'd do it with a donkey

This is why I hate my sister. So. Much.

When I came out to a "friend" he immediately called me a bestiophile. But fuck that guy, he was just not a good human.
