I think my New Years Resolution is to start accepting myself for who I want to be and try my best to come out to some more people.

    I have several:
    1) No more self-harm. That was my resolution last year, and I achieved it. But I had temptations all year, and I don't want to give in. It's still a struggle.
    2) Go to the gym amd lose 20 pounds.
    3) Become a vegetarian.
    4) Get some tattoos and piercings. I've been wanting to get some for years now, since I was still a minor. I couldn't before I turned 18 because my dad wouldn't let me. But now my only excuse is lack of money. So I'm going to put some money aside to finally get some of those. I want to be more myself.
    5) Stand up for the LGBT community more and be true to myself more. A lot of people don't know I'm pan, or that I have an extreme attraction towards the same sex especially. And I always hear soo many people make jokes and say horrible things about the LGBT community because they don't understand us. So this year, I want to start saying something when I hear people talk like this. I want to call them out on their cruel words, and maybe even stand up and say "Hey! I'm pan and I don't like what you're saying about people like me!"
    6) Maybe come out to my father. He's really religious and against the LGBT community. But I might put this off for another year or two.

Last year my resolution was to tell someone about the fact that I'm questioning my sexuality. I sort of kept that promise by joining the forum and talking about my problems here. This year I want to tell someone in person about how I'm feeling. I recently discovered that there is a program on my college campus called Safe Space where some of the teachers can provide resources to LGBT students. I think that would be the safest place for me to talk about my problem at the moment.

I also want to try to be more socially active this year. A lot of my friends from high school have gone their separate ways and I'm having a hard time making new friends on campus. I really need to get out of my comfort zone and try to speak up more often.

Only one I can think of is learn some more scales. Pentatonic minor is fine and all, but I want something else to work with.

I just have two. I want to become a better person and I want to be happy.
I think they're good if you are strong enough to follow them.
