I guess I just meant life from another I suppose. Everyones getting into all this sciency stuff and I don't even know what's going on anymore, but yeah, pretty much just any life on another planet.

It's egotistical to think humans are the smartest lifeform in the universe.

Ditto! I believe that Earth is the ONLY planet in the universe that can produce intelligent organisms.

Yeah, I get what your saying. However, I think that the "aliens" people see aren't exactly that sort of "alien". The grays are actually us in a multidimensional, incredibly powerful, and highly evolved form. They aren't "us" because they have transcended physical reality to an infinity of dimensional planes. However, they are very familiar because they are actually humanoid entities that have essential transcended their humanness to become sentient beings. I've seen them firsthand with my own eyes, so I have no doubt about them. I have no clue what's on other planets, I just know what I saw in my own bedroom and what I've felt a profound spiritual connection to like you can't even imagine...... and like I said it's even possible that I have some genetic lineage from the grays! So, not only do I believe in the grays..... but I might actually be part gray! I also have powers a little bit, which might have to do with me having alien ancestry. I can kind of read minds from time to time, but I don't know if aliens are the cause. There was this once that I met this girl and knew everything about her and her past just based on looking at her.

Statistically it'd be very unlikely if there *wasn't* life elsewhere in the universe. The universe is a vast place, after all. Intelligent life is likely really damn rare, but there's probably more out there, even if we'll never meet.

You would be an utter fool who doesn't understand the scale of the universe to not "believe" in them. There are potentially dozens of planets per every star, billions of stars in every galaxy, billions more galaxies in the Known Universe and the Universe for all we know is infinite. There could even be other universes.

I think there's something to the "Rare Earth" hypothesis though, assuming that life in fact requires a planet with earth like conditions to evolve, I feel like Intelligent Life in the universe could easily be very rare, but not unique to earth by any means. No reason exists to suggest that we have any such significance. In fact, there's still a good chance that extraterrestrial life could be uncovered in our own solar system, on several moons of Jupiter and Saturn, on water ice asteroids/dwarf planets or even on Mars. We're talking about bacteria type stuff here, but just think if we can find microbial life on Europa, or Ganymede, or Titan or Enceladus, that makes finding something on our level somewhere else a very real possibility.

I believe that you believe. Little green men in flying saucers who give humans colonoscopies? Not so much. The solar system itself is a huge place, so who knows? It would be interesting if it were something like an alternate timeline, or something. And didn't they discover bacteria fossils on Mars? Water bears are able to exist in space, too, so it might be more similar to our ideas of life than not (or they might blow our minds in ways we haven't thought possible).

We're probably still in that stage where ideas run wild. Remember what some people thought life across the Atlantic would be like? If there is, people will probably find what we think now utterly absurd!

I don't believe in the conspiracy theories, like Little Green Martians, UFO sightings etc.
But we have billions of planets in our universe,
and why shpuld be believe that we at Earth are the only one with life, we have'nt reached Mars yet so it will take some time for us to foray into the depths of the Universe.
So maybe I hope that out there, hiding in the vast sea of stars and planets and meteors, lies a little planet, where life has sprung.
    Why, look at the possibilities.
    There are many many planets!

It's a statistical improbability that there isn't other life in the universe. There are hundreds of billions of worlds out there, trillions even, it'd be an act of either some 'god' like being, hilarious chance, or Murphy's Law if there was no other life in our universe.

This is a big universe. It is impossible that we are the only intelligent life form that exists. It is very unlikely that they are trying to communicate with us, but I think they exist.

Also, there has been proved that some life forms are in outer space, likely from the pieces of the earth that were sent away when the asteroid fell. There may be aliens in this solar system.

With what we know of the universe being so large-the idea of there being nothing out there seems to me to be crazier than something being out there. However, I do not think that "something" has ever been here or is aware of our existence, either.
