Have you ever dyed your hair? Would you? What color?

I have dyed my hair black, (green on accident), red, dark brown, and purple.

My hair is naturally a fairly dark brown but for about a year I've had it dyed a sort of ginger red color. I did this, as well as cut my hair short, because I was tired of my long brown hair looking like most girls. And what's weird is that a ton of girls got their hair cut short and often also dyed right after I did. Guess I'm a trend setter (you can't see but I'm attempting to flip what little thin hair I have).

I don't think I'd ever dye my hair an "unnatural" (for lack of a better word) color because I am just not that into it. I'm open to colors that are similar to my natural one (but maybe enhanced a little). I don't think I'd ever go full blonde or full black hair.

(Am I the only one who always imagines people online to look like their icons, even if they aren't human?)

Yep, my hair's light enough that I've had it coloured many times. Currently, it's bright red/orange

 

I've died my hair black, red, and reddish brown. I've always wanted to streak it purple- just temporarily. I'll probably go for a mahogany color next.

 

I want to cut it short and dye it light blue and/or pink once I get into college. I've always wondered what I'd look like with short hair and I feel it would fit my identity better.

 

I'd like to dye my hair some day, probably red or blue.

 

I haven't, but a lot of people do it at my school. Personally, I would never dye it, it attracts too much attention, assuming I would dye it an unnatural colour. I don't see a need to dye it any other colour.

 

No you're not, I do it all time (in fact doing this probably affected my own choice of icon).

 

I'm blonde, so I see no reason to dye my hair. It's already a desired color and not many colors go well with it. Also, it's not light blonde, it's more dirty blonde. So, pastel colors wouldn't work either, and they'd be my choice of I ever would dye my hair.

 

I had it dyed red temporarily a few years ago, but nothing since. I'd love to try different colours to see what they look like. But I'd still only do it temporarily again, at least for now. I'd be too scared to walk around in public with permanently dyed hair!

 

I use to have my hair bleached from age 17-23. It was about a shade darker than platinum blonde, it was amazing - I loved it! It was quite expensive and time-consuming to maintain though. I might have it bleached again; it became quite addictive for me.

 

I mean, clearly from my profile picture, I have XD I did this, all blue, and purple dip dye. I also dye my hair blonde all the time. I kind of want to go platinum blonde next.

 

I would love to dye my hair but just haven't yet. Maybe blonde to start with, then more colorful?? Black would be cool too. it's medium brown right now

 

My natural hair color is dark brown (so dark some people thought it was black). I've only dyed it once - I bleached strands and then dyed them blue, purple, and pink. It's been awhile, so it actually faded to what looks like an ombre when I straighten my hair.

I personally have never actually dyed my hair any colour, but I'm considering something light like pastel pink, baby blue or light lavender. I love pastels.

 

Never once dyed my hair into any bright color just yet but I'm very open to experimentation in the future. I'm thinking of green since its my all time favorite color. And no, I'm not a vegan

 

Yes, I plan on dyeing it to this color in a couple of months.

 

I spray painted it once for Halloween. I went as a punk. I ended up not really looking punk and most people didn't get what I was supposed to be or why. I think the colors were red (pink?), blue, and white.

My natural hair color has been turning redder and I've been getting a few white/grey hairs. I like it. I do wish my hair were redder, though. I'm open to dyeing my hair for fun. I'm going to have to start looking for work soon. So, it's going to have to wait.
