    Surprised he thought running was a good idea in the first place.

    He's a guy who should be at the forefront of modernising the GOP and instead he's chosen to revel in the worst aspects of what passes for mainstream conservatism in America these days. His political career is pretty much over once he leaves the governor's mansion, with only a meagre subsistence as a speaker on the religious right circuit and occasional contributor to Fox News and right wing nut radio to look forward to. What a waste.

    How long until Jeb! follows suit?

    I don't think Jeb's all that bad (well when comparing him to those clowns then it's not hard), but let's not forget that one horse in this race is a neurosurgeon who doesn't believe in evolution....
