If you think Americans are stupid, you should meet Mexicans. They're anti-abortion, they think it's murder. :roflmao: Also, they're very homophobic, and are strict when it comes to gun ownership.

To call Hillary Clinton, a woman with a distinguished record as a public servant, "inherently inferior" is pretty ignorant in my opinion.

I think it would be good for America if Bernie wins. But it isn't really a contest. Hillary will be the next president. The Republicians only have joke candidates.

I refuse to even moderately endorse all of the Republicans because of their inhumane stances on abortion, LGBT rights and their absolute hostility to the state providing vital services.

Between the two Democratic front-runners, I might be more inclined toward Sanders in terms of his ambitions for healthcare reform, among a few other things. But I think he would carry no authority on the world stage, as Clinton would, and I worry that he wouldn't be able to compromise with a Republican Congress effectively enough to meet any of his promises. The people who are campaigning for him now might not tolerate any compromises, even though the role of the president is almost that of a great balancer of varying political agenda and a coordinator of those agenda to make a cohesive set of policies, especially when confronted by a hostile legislature. Despite her far less ambitious policies, I think Clinton would deliver better results in reality, whereas Sanders risks being unable to deliver and losing credibility. I think Clinton's a worse campaigner, but I think she'd make a better president.

None of the candidates are really speaking adultly about foreign policy yet, but Clinton, Bush and Kasich have so far not made complete fools of themselves. Rubio knows what's going on in the world, but having a sheet of statistics at hand is a far cry from actually knowing how to manage foreign affairs. The Republicans scarcely talked about America's role in international human rights when debating foreign policy, which really disappointed me.

Clinton's playing at the stupid primary rhetoric everyone's forced to engage with, but I mistrust her enough to trust that she'd be more reasonable in office than she currently promises. She has a proven track record, and even though she has done a flip-flop on the TPP (which greatly benefits America and whose terms are largely crafted by America, despite various demands from American politicians that it uncompromisingly meet every American interest), she is more reasonable on things like US-Iranian relations, the nuclear deal that has taken so long to secure and would be scrapped by a Republican president, if we are to believe the Republican candidates. I also believe she knows US security policy better than Sanders, who, despite his honesty and integrity, might end up out of his depth and rely too much on pure principles rather than pragmatism. That is all very well in a senator from Vermont, but not in the President of the United States, because the stakes are so high that it's just not possible to accept no solution instead of a flawed, but tolerable one. Pragmatic solutions that achieve stability and slow, but steady progress toward humans rights, international security and democracy are more important than having wonderful, principled stances that fail.

I think the options aren't exactly great, but the problem with presidential systems, especially with a presidency so coveted and so powerful, is that individuals are expected to make so many commitments and be so individually perfect that it's hard for them to be reasonable politicians. They don't even go in with a prospective cabinet as they do in most parliamentary systems, which I think puts too much pressure on the candidate as an individual.

For me I'm on Hillary's side atm I don't think Sanders is the way to go but I watched part of the last republican debate and I was against trump at first but after actually hearing him talk in a actual debate I don't think he's that bad anymore so idk anymore at the end though I'm pretty sure it's going to be trump vs hillary so I'm probably to watch more of the debates before making a final decision on who to vote for

I watched some of the democratic debates, and I'd definitely say Bernie Sanders. He's great on LGBT rights and human rights in general.

I won't be old enough to vote this coming election (and won't be until the next), but if I were able to, it'd be him.

I wouldn't vote for the Clintons because they're morally appalling. Begrudgingly, I would vote for Bernie Sanders.

Hillary Clinton. Let's face it, Bernie would never win the general election. Hillary's the best bet we got. Martin O'Malley (yes the guy no one cares about lol) would be a good medium between them but REALLY. No one would vote for him.

Marco Rubio and John Kasich are right now the best in the Republican Party. Still would pick Hillary over them. I swear, if anyone chooses Ted Cruz I'm gonna explode. Seriously, he's WAY more dangerous than Trump. I don't understand why everyone's so up in arms about Trump and ignoring the real villain here. (Cruz had a huge part in the government shutdown a little while ago)

I don't like any of the candidates that I know of. I probably won't vote. ( Go ahead. Burn me at the stake.)

Bernie Sanders. Hillary Clinton is okay, but not my first choice by any means.

Hillary Clinton is a terrible human being. The government is rigging the elections already, so no matter who you vote for, she's going to win. I should probably just stay away from politics, I'm too much of a radical anarchist. Hah.

I'm taking the alternate route by saying I'd vote for Tegan Quin. She can control my country any day.. :eusa_danc

If I was old enough to vote, I'd choose Trump because I actually agree with him on a lot of issues.

Which is why America's political system needs a major shake-up.

Our most liberal viable candidate would be right wing in Europe. And that makes me sick to my stomach.
