I listen to good music or start coding in C++. I feel a lot better after conquering some difficult code! Else I watch Big Bang Theory, FRIENDS or Seinfeld
If it is mild I will hit up youtube. Mark & Ethan React Channel SURPRISE we are pregnant! (I love new Grandmas going crazy!) Or if it is a really bad day I will fill up my tank and go for a drive. I live in Arkansas so there are plenty of country roads to go down. I will roll down my window, blast my music, and sing until I can't anymore. Sometimes I won't listen to anything at all.. I will roll my window down, stick out my hand and let the wind help me heal. Those are the things that help me the best.
Read a nice novel Play my bass/guitar Write music Listen to good music Watch an episode of a TV show I like Go out and eat by myself and relax at the local diners Write stories/poems Learn something new Take a nap Connect with people I'm close with/be here on EC Look into new interesting things to watch and read in the future
Play Pokemon, read, buy yugioh cards, or have an energy drink. I go for drives, but this isn't always an option since I get stressed out when there's a lot of traffic and in this city that means the late night is the only time to go because that's when the streets are desolate. Sometimes I'll drive so far from the city that I'll just pullover on the side of a deserted road and sleep till the morning.
I like to talk about it with my dogs. They're good listeners and very understanding too. The trouble is, they don't often offer good advice.
My cat's the same way, he's so rude. :/ In actuality, if I'm really sad and crying about something, he (my cat) will come and try to cheer me up through purring and cuddling and such. One of my favorite things about cats/dogs is that they know when you need them. To cheer myself up, I like to have a nice cup of green tea. Either that or listen to music while dancing and singing like an insane person, because sometimes it's nice to drop the serious facade.
Working out helped, I haven't for a while. Music (if it's cheerful, otherwise it only makes it worse) Watching anime/manga Watching fav youtubers Reading some geeky articles Watching fav TV show online Playing video games
