I'm not too sure if many people are into dark movies or televisions shows, but if you do know what I'm talking about, does anyone have any recommendations?

Movies I've liked so far: Donnie Darko, American Psycho, Sixth Sense, Mind Game (Japanese), Tekkonkinkreet, City of God, It Follows, Battle Royale, Confessions (Japanese)
Television series: Bates Motel, Orphan Black, Dexter

The Orphan, The Shining and the Rocky Horror Picture Show are the movies I would recommend. As for tv shows, American Horror Story may be up your alley.

Dark shows would be Hannibal, (does Black Mirror count?) and American Horror Story.
Movies: The Shining, Carrie, The Conjoined, The Grudge and the entire Saw series.

    I'm definitely seconding Hannibal.

Can't think of dark-ish TV/movies but I can recommend the anime Psychopass. And pretty much anything by Gen Urobuchi.

if you are into older films check out The seventh Victim from 1943. very bizarre and dark film about a satanic cult in Greenwich Village. it plays like a film noir but is a mix of horror and drama. the whole movie has a sense of dread that builds from first scene to last.

I would recommend the movies The Lazarus Effect, The Last Shift, and Dead Silence.

The shows American Horror Story, Supernatural, and Bates Motel are also pretty good.

I'm finding Jessica Jones pretty dark especially because of some of the actions the villain takes!
