    This is probably more of an American issue. Basically, some Christians are feeling offended that "Christmas" is being removed from "Christmas". They are offended by the blank red cup because it doesn't have snowflakes and reindeer and whatever. Some are even saying it's symbolic for the blood of Christ and is Satanic or something.

    Ironically, Starbucks actually does have a Christmas coffee called "Christmas Blend".

    Best thing I have EVER read! Honestly though, who cares what the cups are like. It's trying to be festive, why does it matter? It's not like Starbucks are trying to be offensive, more saying, "Hey, we're festive too." If anything I'll be going to Starbucks more often. I am an atheist, and while I don't have anything against Christians, there are those one's that believe too much in the Bible and Fox News.

    Besides that, this December 25th will be my 2nd Christmas here. :eusa_danc

    This whole phony, 'War on Christmas' persecution complex has almost become as much a tradition as the holiday itself, on Fox News, and the like.

    I think at least 25-50% of Conservatives/Republicans have become paranoid and delusional, and would benefit from psychological help; to me; they are to the point of displaying the signs of mental illness.

    I feel like this happens way too much in society. People outright want to get offended so they can play the victim card. I have absolutely nothing against Christians, most of my friends are very religious, but this is just ridiculous.
