Nope. It's the fictional language used in J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-Earth series.

I'm fluent in English. I used to be very good at Japanese (spoken and written) but I haven't been using it and I'm forgetting some words LOL I can still carry a decent conversation with a native. Same thing is happening with my Spanish. Spanish is easier for me though because my dad speaks spanish at home so I constantly am exposed to it.

I'm very fluent in English and I can stumble through a small conversation in Spanish. I just started taking an ASL class a few days ago.

I'm also learning the Arabic alphabet too, with the hopes of being able to eventually speak and read Arabic script. I probably won't keep this up though.

Does anyone speak Arabic or at an intermediate/advanced level?

I'm learning Japanese, mainly speaking and listening since I still find it hard to grasp the 3 alphabet thing but I'm hoping be somewhat fluent by the time I finish my GCSEs (about 4 years).

Also, the school is forcing me to learn French but I'm finding it really hard mainly because of its similarity to English. I honestly don't care for French since I won't use it outside of school.

Still, re: French, if you end up fluent in Japanese, adding a third language to your arsenal won't do you any harm.

    I can only speak english.
I took German classes in high school but didn't really see a point in continuing it since I had no one to talk to, so I forgot about it. I do regret that though and would like to re-learn it, who knows, perhaps I'll go to Germany some day?

Well, I speak French (DUUUUH) and English (DUH AGAIIIIIN).
I can almost understand written Spanish and Portuguese but I can only make basic sentences in Spanish.

I want to learn Madarin, Japanese and Korean but well... Learning thousands of characters seem to be a bit too much right now. For Japanese I didn't say anything about learning more than 100 kanas, but 2k Kanji ? Seriously ?

So well, I'm starting with Korean. -Don't expect me to learn Hanjas for now- Once I get fluent enough to understand most stuff, I'll move on to Japanese, then Mandarin... After that, I don't know.

I understand a lot more French than I can produce (speaking or writing) because I forgot a lot of vocabulary in the six years it has been since I used it regularly.

I also can read and write passably in Latin, with my dictionary on hand.

I want to learn Italian, more Spanish (I know a tiny bit), Ancient Greek, and some other stuff too, I'm not sure yet!

My L1 is English (U.K., CAN, and U.S.) and I'm proficient in French and German. I'd love to be able to tackle Russian or Ukrainian, but I can't seem to re code a part of my brain for Cyrillic.

My partner speaks proficient Italian and she keeps encouraging me to give it a try, but I just hate it, I sound too silly.
