This question doesn't apply to me yet, but if two men are in a monogamous relationship, and are HIV negative and have no STDs, is it safe for them to engage in bareback anal sex? Would it be okay for one man to ejaculate inside the other man's anus? The idea really turns me on, but is it simply not a good idea?

The question is if you both are strictly monogamous. Do you trust the other person? If you guys haven't slept with any other guys, and you don't plan to while you're in a relationship, there's nothing wrong with having bareback. Also make sure you do a thorough STD check as well.

But, I do stress the trust factor. I'd wait until you guys are committed.

Actually, you can still get UTIs from barebacking even if STIs were ruled out.

If you're willing to literally trust your life on your partner not cheating or lying about his health status...

Do take a piss right after sex though, to flush the normal enterobacteria out of your urethra. It's supposed to be kept sterile.

You should get yourself checked regularly if you start to have unprotected sex. Also, you should have a long conversation with your partner and continue having the conversation.

Hypothetically, yes it would be safe. Realistically, thousands of men get stds because their partner lied to them, or made a mistake, or got drunk, or plenty of other things that they just don't want to tell you.

I think you already got an answer... it would be safe.
