I've realized recently that "You Are Not Alone" from Final Fantasy 9 is one of my favorite songs ever. I love all the rock covers of it that people have posted on youtube.

Electronica, pop, rock, metal, alt. rock, rap, anything that sounds good to me

Like, I'll go from La Dispute, to Grimes, to Varien, to Radiohead. I like most kinds of music, but I'm not into the heavier kinds of metal and country much. Though I would like to find more of that genre that I like Mostly its rock, alternative, and electronic music(Too many sub-genres to list)

My favorite genre is metal, which is unusual for a (mostly) gay guy like myself.

I'm not a big fan of metalcore or radio metal but I love a lot of death metal, thrash metal, and progressive stuff.

Rock and punk are also great and some hip hop from time to time can be good. Just no country haha

I like to think my music taste is quite broad  I love all kinds of doom metal (particularly funeral doom), black metal, death metal, progressive rock & metal, sludge, post rock, post metal, crust punk, grindcore, industrial, IDM, aggrotech, synthpop, futurepop, some rock, techno, and pop.
In general, I'm just not into rap.

I really can't choose since I'm into lots of different styles of music and in other languages too. Sometimes I'll go through periods of time being obsessed with a certain style of music (like right now it's pop punk.) Then I'll switch to liking EDM/House music and I'll search high and low for new artists to listen to. The problem with liking different styles is that you kind of get confused with who you are and who you want to be. I'm not saying that you have to put a label on it or anything but as a virgo I like to be organized and have order. So when I want to dress like a punk I do. But the next say I'll be a basic white girl. The same goes for my preferred music choices. I really don't know who I am or what I should be. Idk if anyone reads this, thanks for taking the time to do so....

Metal - mostly of the melodic variety. Power, prog, hard rock, thrash, folk. Some death/black. Huge Japanese rock/metal/pop fan too

I like a lot of stuff. I grew up listening to a lot of really poppy stuff (e.g. Katy Perry, Maroon 5, Pink, Natasha Bedingfield, that kind of stuff), then I sort of moved to classic rock (Rolling Stones, Eagles, Beatles, etc.), and then I went through a classical phase and now I listen primarily to Indie and Singer-Songwriter songs (in the vein of Adele, James Bay, Tori Kelly, Ed Sheeran) and even some R&B/hip hop (The Weeknd, Childish Gambino, Andra Day, etc.)

But I'm really living for the alternative stuff right now. My little trifecta at the moment is Troye Sivan, Melanie Martinez, and Halsey.
