Do you feel younger/older than you are?

Sometimes younger, sometimes older.

Depends on the day.

It's weird to refer to myself as a 20something. I've been used to the -teen suffix for the past 7 years.

 

Older.

I feel older than I am, because I'm a philosophical person and because I'm depressed and stuff... so yeah.

 

I feel older than I really am, mostly because I like to think deeply about certain topics. I've also been told multiple times that I am very mature for my age. Sometimes, I feel like a six-year-old, though. Not often, but sometimes.

 

I look and emotionally feel younger. But mentally, I feel older.

 

Older, no doubt about it. Way older.

Growing up closeted in a conservative environment, you're exposed to the darker side of life at an early age. That alone forced to grow up quickly and mature faster than my peers.

Add to that the fact that I've spent age 18,19, and 20 in the military where I've been far removed from my family and held responsible as an adult. I believe these two experiences "robbed me of my youth" so to speak.

Honestly feel like I'm about 35 compared to 20, and I'm pretty sure it shows in my face and demeanor that there isn't much innocence left.

 

Older. But, I have a young personality with mature thoughts and tendencies conpared to others

 

I sometimes forget that I'm close to 30. Other times I feel way older than my age. It really depends on my mood. But usually I get very surprised when I remember that I'm 27 (almost 28) and I start to feel like I'm super old and haven't done much in life. :icon_redf

Yeeep, I have joint...issues and have developed a hatred of stairs only an eighty year old could match.

It's interesting. Now that I'm at uni, where age isn't clearly delineated, I get bumped up a decade or so. On a slightly more unrelated note, wearing a tight shirt and seeing how old someone thinks you are is excellent secondary gaydar.

 

Both younger and older

I like some cartoons and running like a child (that's why I play football), but I'm reserved and calm (sometimes also bitter) like a grandma very often

 

I'm just my age. I may not fit into some of the stereotypes of people my age, and I may feel like I don't quite connect with those around me whom are the same age sometimes, but to be honest it doesn't make me feel younger or older.

I'm just a person that is a certain age, my own, who might sometimes get along better with those who are older than me, and who might sometimes feel somewhat older than those around me, but at the same time I'll go home and watch children's animations and collect trading cards trending in primary schools if I feel like it.

 

Younger. I still can't believe I'm 24. Seems like just yesterday I was slogging through high school.

 

Depends on the day and what mood I'm in, most of the time I feel much younger.

 

I feel younger. I feel about 19.

 

It always varies. Sometimes I feel like I'm 12, others I feel like I'm 50. But I dunno, this could be normal phenomena at my age

 

gonna be a kid until I die. not a totally bad thing(!)

 

I feel so young for my age, it's bizarre. It blows my mind to think I'm only a couple of months away from being 23.

....It probably doesn't help that my face looks practically teenage and there is nothing that can be done to stop it, haha.
