I listen to a lot of different genres, but I'll say my favourite is probably alternative/indie rock.

My favorite is doom metal and its subgenres (especially stoner metal), but I've been getting into nu metal and metalcore and... shoegazing (which is basically dream pop with noisy distorted guitars).

Rock (mainly 50's-70's), indie (80's i.e the smiths), All sorts of weird crap (90's), blues, and chic, because why not.

I'd have to say rock. I like classic rock the most.

My music taste is constantly fluctuating in harmony with my mood. One moment I'll be all about funk and the other I'm all about punk. But the one genre that I always come back to is folk. It's just such an amazingly heartfelt organic genre. Folk is just such a genuine genre and it's, in my opionion, best done justice in a live setting.

My favourite is '90s to early 2000s country music. The old stuff is too slow for me, and the new stuff isn't really "country", more of a rock/pop sound to it. I do like a few of the new songs, like Chris Young, Bobby Wills, Brad Paisley, Eric Church, etc.

Chiptunes are by far my favorite when you find them done well. Anamanaguchi, Kubbi, and Krelez, and Kitsune^2 to name a few.

I can't even tell you how many I have favorited on my browser, and how many I have saved to an external hard drive.

Also, I'll always love 90's music, no matter what genre.

I could answer with a long list of various genres but I'm just going to go ahead and say that I like all music in a certain way. My attitude towards music is if I like a song then I'll get it

Still like that old time rock 'n' roll, the kinda music just soothes the soul..

(I like rock in general though, really.)

My music taste is really confusing. I can go from listening to death core to indie or alternative. My favorite genre changes most of the times depending on what bands i'm listening to at the moment. As of now I would have to say that my favorite genre is alternative rock.
