    Moist.

Why does this word seem to make so many people squirm?

Personally, I love the word and the way it sounds.

    Moist.

"First we had a perfectly cooked roast duck; savory, and moist, followed by a delightful cake, light, fluffy, and not at all dry, but pleasantly moist".

"The happy puppy nuzzled his cold, moist nose against the boy's cheek."

"After soccer practice, he had to shower, because his crotch had become very moist."

"OMG! That boy is SO cute, he's making me moist!"

Anyway, I love this word, and want to make national use the word moist day, to celebrate it in all it's glory!

I don't have a problem with the word either. What's to dislike about it?

    Moist deserves more appreciation.

When I hear the word 'moist', I think of cake and muffins - i.e 'This cake isn't very moist'.

Oh not me. The word makes me smile in a mischievous way, and then I'll start making improper innuendos (specially in public!) in a concerted effort to see you mutate into a human tomato.

I love when people get embarrassed about anything sex related. I live for those moments when their eyes are darting, looking for something, someone, anyone that could "save" them from the awkwardness of my insinuations. So cute.

I associate it with window condensation which is my only issue with it.

Oh my gosh, I'm glad I've found someone else who enjoys those sadistic games. Lolol. I love it when I say something that's sexual but I don't make it seem obvious, and just watching their reactions.

For me, moist just sounds wrong in my mouth. It's an ugly word. Like the word "crumple" , or "agglutination" ,

    Same(!)(!)

I just like casually sexualizing a simple sentence to fluster people. I act all oblivious and innocent, too, and it works! I also like acting like I don't know what certain terms mean and then use them to fluster people.

It seems like nobody else on this thread really dislikes the word, so I feel kinda dumb saying this. But whatever. I dislike the sound of the word. It just sounds really gross to me and I don't know why. There are certain words that I really don't like hearing though, so it's probably just me. Also it feels inherently sexual, which is weird.

It makes me laugh. It's worst if you whisper the word and really put emphasis on the st at the end. XD

Aww man my 7th grade english teacher hated that word (for some reason..?)...so my class would try to incorporate that word in any sentence possible!

One day, though, I caught her watching pokemon porn (WHY? IDK) in class and soon had an idea of why she didn't like us using that word...
