I studied Information technology/Computer Science in college. So programming languages were pretty much core. But I don't really care for Java, C++, C, C# or Dotnet. I'd rather focus on Python, R-Programming and Data Science which coincidentally (not ) I'm doing right now.
C++, C#, HTML, CSS, Javascript and a smattering of other languages. Mostly do web dev these days but have done plenty of windows apps, dabbled in mobile app dev. I spend my time looking after high volume ecommerce sites these days.
Relatively new in programming, Java mostly. I'm too picky with languages - don't like graphicals like Labview, and (sorry) HTML is just mostly design, and I can't art. Anyone else here do BASIC? Hah I carry around my TI-84 all day and get bored fairly easily
yep. I never studied it but i work as a programmer. I usually use unity + c#. But well sometimes my bosses tell me: you gotta do this, figure out how. and sometimes it involves other software and languages. i only learn how to do the assigned task and then, i move to the next thing
I've wanted to program since I was like 10 but never got the chance. I learned a little programming when I started using Macromedia Flash MX but that was a while ago. Does anyone know about Codecademy? If so, how good are the classes? I've taken a few on Python and HTML and thought it was fun but not sure if it's worth the time.
