At this point in time, the Liberals are killing it in Atlantic Canada. That's really bad news for Stephen Harper.

Liberals are running riot, I thought this was supposed to be a near run thing? :roflmao:

That sound you can hear is Harper rehearsing his resignation speech.

I was reading that the Conservatives were supposed to finish first but be unable to form a government and that all hell would break loose. That doesn't seem to be the case tonight.

(And no I'm not Canadian, I'm just dating one. But I'm a political/elections junkie and so I'm geeking out tonight watching the CBC.)

I think it's pretty important to remember the liberals always do well in Atlantic Canada. Granted this is pretty high numbers for the liberals even there.

I do hope it isn't a majority Liberal government however. We'll just get something similar to what we just had.

NDP propping up the liberals would be far more desirable.

How are you watching CBC in the US? :/

I'm from Atlantic Canada - liberals always dominate here (especially since Harper took office) because the rest of the country forgets about us. Which granted, isn't a big surprise - our entire region is sort of an economic drag on the nation.

I'm in Oakland County, Michigan, which is considered Metro Detroit, and so CBC Windsor included on cable here. Since I was a child, the CBC has always been channel 99 on Comcrap. In the summer, I watch the hockey playoffs on Hockey Night in Canada all the time.

Ontario fell to the evil liberal Kathleen Wynne last year. :frowning2: she's Trudeau's right hand man, kind of scary.

Well, we've suffered under ten years of evil conservative tyranny, so I doubt an evil liberal will be worse.

They'll have to try extremely hard to beat the current administration when it comes to clowns. And by current administration I mean about-to-be-ex administration.

I never said you were lol, but it really will be hard to be worse than the conservatives have been. I'm not exactly a liberal either.

Everything I hear about Harper makes him sound like a less biblethumping version of George W. Bush, so I'm pleased to see that he's losing.
