Ooh~ I always mean to do this, but I'm too busy at this time of the month... Although, I did write a novella in 4 days, so... I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have too much of a problem with the right inspiration~~ I recommend starting with Freytag's pyramid and then filling in the rest as you go. Also make sure to take notes of everyone's hair color, eye color, and other mentioned characteristics and keep it by you so you don't have to backtrack because you can't remember what the sister's eyes looked like XD;;; Anyways! Good luck everyone!
It's awesome to see fellow EC people doing NaNo, too! I hardly wrote at all yesterday...but I made up for that today and I'm planning on reaching today's word count (at least)... I can't imagine already having 7k, thepandaboss :O
I started at midnight, wrote until 2, went to a local write-in later that day, and wrote until about 7. Sunday's typically my only day off so I figured that since the rest of the week I probably wasn't going to have a lot of time to write, I might as well make up for it. I was actually planning on only getting to about 2k too. Haven't written anything yet today but I'm hoping to carve out some time between work assignments.
You now what timed out perfectly with the start of NaNoWriMo on my end? Midterms week. Yaaaaaaay. I don't expect to be able to get much, if anything, done in the next few days in terms of wordcount, but I'll try.
In my major and school (CS), midterms begin about a month in. Then I have about one every week, until finals. So yeaaah, same problem as you. Only at 3K =/
I'm at 2800 words as of today. I think it's fun to see that I can manage to write every day, and more than 200 words each day.
Just hit 30k. Was at 25k yesterday and basically told myself I had to get to 30k or else. Story's turning out actually. I just hope I can wrap things up by the time I hit 50k.
I seem to consistently be about 5,000 behind every day. But if I write about 2,000 words daily, I can still make it.......
