    Hello everyone!!

Ok so I'm a 25 year old female that loves her makeup, hair and nails and tight jeans. However...I really dislike being a legit girl... If I could change it, I'd be a shemale. I love the idea of looking how I do, but having male parts... I'm not really big into girly things though... I love gaming, machines, automobiles etc. I dream to be a shemale, TG, sissy boy etc etc...*

I just recently found out my bf is a CD and I'm honestly jealous..*

I'm lost I *who I am in a way...anyone else out there than can help explain or relate?

Hey, just wanted to put it out there that the term "shemale" and "sissy boy" is considered highly offensive and derogatory in describing transgender people. How you wish to identify is your business alone, but using those words on here can be hurtful and possibly triggering for many members.

I'm Sorry and I'm not trying to hurt anyone or start anything but I'm not sure what other terms to use...this is my first time discussing this... So I'm not sure what to say or do.

It's alright, unfortunately mainstream culture is still very much in the dark about proper ways to approach the whole issue of gender. I think the term you're looking for is MtF transgender, or someone who was assigned male at birth but identify as a woman.

It's important to note that being MtF does not make anyone any less of a "legit" girl. If you identify as a girl, you are a girl. That's it, end of story. Also, gender identity is completely different from cultural gender roles. You can identify as a boy and still like makeup and dresses and looking feminine, and similarly you can identify as a girl while liking video games and wearing cargo pants.

Definitely take a look at this thread first, it provides a list of links to all the information you need to know about gender identity. Reading through this information will likely give you a better idea of what you are feeling and help you figure things out.

Oh, I'm aware that OP is AFAB, it's just that the correct term for what she was attempting to describe was MtF transgender, transwoman, etc. I just wanted to clarify that the when she said "I really dislike being a legit girl", well, being transgender does make you any less "legit".

Do you feel uncomfortable with the parts you have now or do you just think it would be cool to have male parts?

Do you feel uncomfortable with your body in general and feel like you're supposed to have a male body, or do you just like the idea of being a "shemale"?

The language you use tells me that you're likely getting all your information about trans women from a very fetishistic sort of perspective ("shemale" and "sissy boy" are words used primarily in porn or to fetishize trans women), so it's hard to tell whether you're experiencing dysphoria or if you just find the idea of being a woman with a male body to be intriguing because of how sexualized and fetishized it often is.

I'm afab (assigned female at birth) and I identify as a transwoman. I agree the terms "sissyboy" and "shemale" are offensive. The terms you should use are: trans, transgender, transwoman.

How could she be a demigirl? That would imply she doesn't feel like a woman all of the time. Its completely valid to want to be a transwoman, but transwomen are still legit women.
