Last time, the comments sections ended up filled with horribly transphobic and violent trash talking... Maybe this time the crazies will stick to watching things they actually like, but I wouldn't bet on it...
Jazz is awesome. I watched a documentory on her a long time ago. She's really gorgeous. I wonder if she is on here.
I really didn't like her documentary. I thought it was kind of strange and weird following a teen like that and getting to see her personal life and all. It's just kind of creepy is all.
I think Jazz Jennings is a really cool person, but I got bored of the show after like half an episode.
In my opinion after watching a few episodes, I think it was a huge mistake for her and her family to display themselves for such exposure. She is still a teen in school and the thing with this is that kids can be very cruel and for her to put herself on display while in school is such a dangerous situation to be in ...just my opinion. Teens do not have time to give this their full understanding or attention as you can see on certain episodes where she is not totally accepted by her peers. It also put not only her parents in a bad place with this matter, but also her siblings who also have to deal with backlash from this decision as well. I feel if she waited until she graduated from high school and then decided to tell her story, then that would be fine because she would be considered an adult. Furthermore, I watched an episode where her other siblings were quite annoyed and irritated with the mother because she puts a lot of focus and attention daily on Jazz's issues and they feel that they are being ignored by her. One sibling even mentioned that he wished she had not decided to do the show because he and the other siblings have to deal with a lot of backlash due to the choices she made to put her story out in the media. There are many kids who are going through the transitioning process who have gotten killed or beaten up really bad because there are those within our society who does not accept it which results in death defying circumstances and that is why I feel the way I do about Jazz...just again my opinion.
I think it's interesting. And Jazz is sooo pretty~. ^.^ I'm a bit concerned about all the hate she gets, though, being famous at her age. I hope she can continue to deal with it successfully. >.<
I think it's a great show and educates a lot of people about what being transgendered means and is. I didnt know much about being trans before or what it was exactly but after watching the show I understood more
