For work I have to listen to my voice every now and then. Used to hate it so much, but I've gotten used to it. Doesn't bother me anymore, it's mostly weird because it's so different from how I usually hear it.

I hate hearing recordings of my own voice. I have a very low-pitch voice that sounds like one would usually imagine a retarded person sounding like.

I don't like listening to my voice, it's always much more treble-y than I hear it in my head.

Y'all are so lucky you never have to witness my voice. I have no idea how my parents put up with the horrific noises my vocal chords produce.

I have a very high-pitched voice. Of course, whenever I get nervous(which is pretty much all the time), my voice gets even higher pitched. I have tried speaking lower with little success. Hopefully, taking T will help with that, I just hate my voice in general.

I hate my voice too, it just sounds like my voicebox was dragged through a woodchipper and stuck back into my body like that and I also sound like no one would like me as a person because my voice does not fit my creative and vocal personality.

It's usually pretty average, until I start yelling and suddenly I'm Mickey Mouse or some shit like that. I'm very quiet, so I guess I'm just not very good at speaking up!

I actually like my voice. It's expressive. It goes deep when I'm serious, and high when I'm excited and I enjoy hearing my voice on recording. Even singing, it's fun to record my progress.

I hate my voice on a video. It sounds loud and obnoxious and I say my 's's weird. xD

I think most people are a bit uncomfortable with a recording of their own voices at first. For me, I hate how different I sound on recording as opposed to just speaking.

I have a high voice. I can only really sound different for short periods of time, so it's rarely worth the effort. I'm usually okay with my voice, except when someone thinks I'm a girl because of it.

I find my voice to be annoying when I'm hyper, because I sound like a 10 year old kid on a "sugar-rush."

I have mixed feelings about my voice when I'm angry. I can't hide my anger, but at the time I appreciate how sharply it gets the point across.

I like my voice. It's served me well, no need to knock it.

Problem is, it's one of the most damning things about myself. While I don't sound like Darth Vader, and that is something to be thankful about, I'm still not quite as... pretty... as I'd like to sound.

If we exclude the depressing trans-stuff, I'm fine. I mean, hearing me compliment myself, is a win-win.

Kinda go out of my way to avoid hearing my own voice. I honestly don't want to know.

I started recording myself for Youtube videos in 2010, a year after being officially diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome, aged in my 30's. It was then that I did a lot of tics I never realised I was doing. That includes the grunting and whatever noises.

I hate hearing my voice, even without recording it.

I don't like hearing recordings of my voice. I've only ever used low-quality microphones, which might be why. I sound like I'm just into male puberty and it makes me sound like I'm growling.

I don't know how I actually sound to other people, but my therapist said I sounded feminine, and that my voice doesn't scream "trans woman".

But recordings of my voice are bad. Just so bad. I hope I don't actually sound like that in person.

I'm quite used to hearing my own voice, because I take recordings of my debates, oral assessments and radio segments.

I don't particularly like it, but I think it's pretty ordinary not to be overly fond of one's own voice. It's distinctive and clear, at the very least.
