I speak English fluently and can read/write French to a decent level. I have difficulties understanding spoken French, and my confidence gets the best of me when speaking (also, I can't come up with sentences etc.)

I've started learning German this year in school.

I also have plans to learn Japanese, Icelandic and Welsh in the future.

    English and Esperanto.
I will learn Spanish at school (it is the only foreign language taught, and the class is just a Bible class taught in Spanish).
I hope to eventually learn Russian, so far I can read people's names.

I wish I went to a Public school so I could learn another language and not have all of the "You're going to Hell" from people for being a different denomination (they say different religon).

    I only speak English.

Learning a new language is difficult for me in part because of a mild learning disability (disabilities?) having to do with language (Auditory Processing Disability and possible dyslexia). The only time I attempted to learn another language (because my university required it for BA degrees) was a disaster. I took 4 semesters of Latin and got 1 D, 2 C's, and 1 B.

English, definitely. I know the basics of a few Chinese dialects (Mandarin, Taishanese, Cantonese), and a smattering of French--remnants of a high school education.

I speak French (native), English and Spanish fluently and I perfectly understand Italian (though I am not fluent) and I am now learning German and sign language in my free time which I don't have much unfortunately.

I'm fluent in Swedish (obviously) and English. I know some Spanish and I also know a tiny bit of german. I would love to be fluent in French because it's such a lovely language, but I don't have the commitment to start from square one to learn the whole language.

Fluent in English and I can speak Greek pretty well. I know Greek well enough to communicate, read, and sort of write.

  15. English, Teochew, and Hokkien. Spoke Hokkien and Teochew for the earliest parts of my life and English quickly took over. Now I only speak those first two languages at home. English is my most dominant language, but Hokkien and Teochew are still good.

Learning Mandarin and HK Cantonese. I can only know enough to have a very basic conversation.

Only English. I know a ton of French verbs and vocab, but sadly can't put it all together well.

    Native-level fluency: English, Spanish

Shitty fluency: French (took 3 years in school).

Funny story: I leaned all three before my vocal cords matured so my accent in any language has influences of all three. My Spanish sounds extremely proper, but gringo-like; my French has English and Spanish vestiges, and my English has some Spanish, southern American, and sometimes a bit of "Cajun."

I'm a native English speaker. Mais je parle le français aussi, je l'apprends à l'école. 日本語も少し話します。

    English and Jibberish.

Joking aside, I used to know a bit of German but I've forgotten the majority of it over the years. The only thing I remember off the top of my head is "Das Spiel" because I used to mess with my friend by saying "The Game" in German. Wonder where she went...

I actually learned a lot of it from reading candy wrappers, oddly.

I can speak French and English on a fluent level and some other languages on a lesser level.

I'm an intermediate, almost expert, in Spanish. I'm in my third year of the language.

I'm also learning German, but I suck at it. Akkusativ and Dativ syntaxes are complete nonsense to me. So difficult >_<

I also have some basic in Mandarin Chinese, Italian and even Norwegian. If you didn't know already, I'm a language student. I'm good at assimilating languages.
