Well, things aren't that bad for me at the moment. Actually, they are going quite well. But I am feeling stressed lately. And I'm not getting a lot of affection in my life. I have a cat who loves me, which is great. But I'm not getting a lot of human contact. I do my hours at work, come home, then have nobody to tell about my day. No boyfriend to snuggle up to. I am close to my parents, but we're not a huggy kissy family. I'm not sure who I can turn to for a bit of comfort.
What have you done so far, or what could you do to try to change things Dave? Although things are going quite well for you, you also mention feeling stressed and I wonder if that's entirely related to being on your own. Is there anything specific that is bothering you?

Well, I know what you're feeling. Sometimes I start crying for not having anyone to hug and kiss, then I end up hugging my pillow. I feel lonely. I want to get a boyfriend but this would cause problems with my family and I can't deal with this for now. Oooh lots of hugs! Thank you very much! My moods have been up and down lately, it's crazy, and I think part of why it's bothering me is because I don't have somebody I can "escape" to. i end up being left to my own thoughts, and that gets a bit lonely.
I am struggling really badly right now. family too far away . friends dont do hugs and are just accepting me ,, I was so close to asking my doctor for a hug yesterday but was too scared to ask her. seing a therapist ,new one on thursday but don't know if they hug... I have my 45 year old teddy bear and thats it.. so much darkness.. so so much..
